Zonish smiled as she heard the familiar voice, still burning inside out.
The liquid had made her vomit blood all around her. She was literally laying in the midst of a blood pool. She had felt her powers slowly diminish as weakness shrouded her body.
But her hunch was correct. She achieved what she had wished.
