***Derrin’s POV***
I feel a weird sense of comfort in this dark hole. This abyss that has claimed me. I knew I was close to the border where I had collapsed. My body exhausted again from the pain of losing my mate, Gus got one good hit on me and it took a while to heal as it was pouring blood. But I wanted to make it back. Apollo should hear it from me. He should hear from his father that his mother is gone. But I also wanted to bring him comfort in knowing I killed the man responsible. I wanted to show him that the man that caused not only his pain but pain to his mate was no longer an issue.
Now they can rest easy. I just hope they know I did everything I could for my family. So if this is it, I did all I could for them.
