***Celestina’s POV***
I knew when I left that cell in the dungeon that that would be the last time I would be able to see my mate in person. I wanted to stay with him until he woke up. But I knew Nadea needed to get me and my body out of there or Gus might have mutilated it. That was the last time I'd get to walk around at all. And enjoy all of the adventures I had planned being a human. You think living so many passed lives and dying that I would be more prepared but Gus really threw us for a loop this time. Just because we are the first doesn't make us immortal. Just makes us the wisest. We are the ones who try and make the supernatural world a better place with our knowledge.
