My name is Jules Hart,and I have done absolutely nothing with my life,in all of my 23 years.I’ve been to college,because I was supposed to one day take over my father’s business but my stepmother took that away from me.My family isn’t what you would call an ideal family either.You see my parents separated when I was young.My mother died from a hit and run accident. She left me without saying goodbye.Her memories seemed distant now,that’s the hardest part of loosing a person.The fear of actually forgetting them,this was the reason,I wished I could bury her memories deep down in my heart. The day after I graduated,My dad suffered a stroke making my whole world shatter into pieces.My dad has always trusted me,and respected my desires and wishes.That was the height of all my misfortune.My life is honestly not very interesting as the only thing constant in my life was work,My life is also very unstable as I can’t remember a day I didn’t feel worried or sad in the least. I found myself dreaming for a good man and a very happy family.Before I knew it life got harder as my sister got pregnant for my boyfriend.Amy was my stepsister,right from when I met her she always had a thing for my things.She would take my favorite toys and dresses when we were kids. My boyfriend Jack Davies was a rich guy he was extremely handsome since college years,when he asked me to be his girl in our final year I couldn’t help but say yes.I gave him everything I had to offer in our relationship and I was pretty much satisfied,Amy just had to open her legs in front of him and make him hers.She was three months pregnant for my boyfriend,Now that I actually think about it we have been together for only Two years and she was already 3 months gone.He cheated on me for more than six months. Jack was rich hence our breakup made headlines on social media,There was a bunch of accusations here and there until the entire situation turned against me.I got cheated on and I was still getting the blame,How was this fair was the only thing I asked myself as I scrolled through my news feed on f*******:. I woke up feeling just as exhausted as I felt when I fell asleep last night.Today I have a day off and I was immediately grateful,because I was having a very hard time getting off my bed. My thoughts began to drift to the awful scene that happened months ago,I feel my eyes getting blurry with tears and roll over with a sigh. 9:00am My phone let’s out a ringing sound and I nearly dropped it.I looked at the caller ID and see it’s my stepmom calling,it hangs up before I could answer it.The ringing came on again as I checked the caller ID it was now Amy. I answered with a scoff.Hey what’s up Amy?”I asked clearing my throat. Hey Jules mom needs you to be ready by eleven,she needs to speak to you urgently.She sounded happy and I couldn’t get why since she hated me so much,why is she willing to see me now.I will be there I said as she hanged up on me,well there goes her niceness I thought with a chuckle. ................................ At 11:30 I am ready to go.I checked my appearance in the mirror and was satisfied with how I looked.I decided to keep it simple and put on my favorite pink sweatshirt and a pair of pink joggers.I packed my hair into a messy bun because it looks decent. I sprayed my perfume and grabbed my bag,I locked all doors and mentally prepare myself to meet my so called stepmom.
