Episode 11

    Vikram sat and gave the diary to Naina and asked her to read.

    Naina took the diary in her hand and opened it and found that it was a clubbed one. She turned a few pages and looked at Vikram.

    Don’t look at me confused, Peter gave the diary in front of everyone, so there is no chance of me to do anything with it.

    Naina looked at Anuj and opened the first page of the diary and started to read.

    Hi, diary... Happy New Year to you too. My name is Roshni Saxena, W/o. Ashok Saxena. Now don’t ask me why I mentioned my husband’s name here.

    I love my husband very much and I am blessed with another new year to spend with him along with my beautiful and dashing son.

    Okay, bye diary, you know, I have a son, right, he always craves to gain my attention.

    Naina turned the page and the year was changed and she looked at others and Anuj asked her to continue.

    Diary, I am sad today, as my mother in law passed away, she was a very good lady, but don’t know how she suffered a heart attack suddenly and died so early, but life must go on. We are at my in-law’s place and we performed the last rites of our beloved mother-in-law today and my father-in-law is in shock. It was obvious when I was not able to believe her death, how can he believe.

    Hi, diary, we returned to our home today, as my husband had an urgent meeting and he wanted to return early, but I am happy that we got a new member in our house in the name of Priya. At the first meeting only, she made me her sister. She is so lively and down to earth. She is chubby and bubbly as well. She is overactive compared to me and asks me to take a rest and from the morning doing every household work on her own. So sweet right. Bye.

    Hi, diary, I don’t know what happened between Priya and Ashok, he is behaving oddly. Priya is also not telling me anything. Why did they fight? Everything was going well till yesterday and today, they are sitting as though they don’t know each other. I have to find out the reason behind it and solve the differences between them before they start attacking each other with word war.

    Naina looked at them and said, “one week’s diary is missing.”

    “No problem Naina, you read, why you are stopping in between,” said Anuj getting irritated.

    Hi, diary, Priya is a jolly girl and she loves teasing and she teased my husband saying Hi Handsome and he got irritated and he stopped talking with her. You tell me what is wrong with teasing. Don’t you think Ashok is overreacting and taking everything seriously?

    I spoke to Priya and she asked, “don’t I have the right to tease him?” Now, you tell me, how should I answer her question?

    Naina stopped and said, one year’s dairy is missing and started to read again.

    Diary, I don’t know, why I am thinking like something is wrong at my house. My husband is behaving oddly like someone is chasing him. He is not discussing anything with me nor he is playing with Anuj. Priya is also busy preparing for her exams. I am not understanding with whom I should discuss what I am feeling right now. I am getting a feeling that my husband is suffering from mental health issues.

    Some pages missing, said Naina and started reading again.

    Diary, I lost my husband in an accident one month ago, now I have to take care of his business and take care of Anuj as well. I am not understanding how I will deal with his loss. I can’t disturb my father-in-law as well, as he is already in shock as he lost his wife as well as his son. Hope, I will be able to deal with everything well till my father-in-law comes out of the trauma.

     After some days

    Diary, Priya is a very good girl. She is taking care of Anuj very well and not even allowing me to come near him. She is saying, “Roshni, you take care of the business and I will take care of the house, don’t worry about the house anymore, leave everything on me and you just relax.” I am not understanding how I can repay for her support at this phase of my life.” she is too good for me.

    After some days.

    Diary, my son was trying to tell me something and Priya came and stopped him in between and took him away from me. I can see his sad face. Is he missing me or is there any other thing that is bothering him and he wants to discuss with me. I have some urgent meetings to attend and I have to concentrate on business as well. I am not understanding how to deal with both. Now a days, I am becoming suspicious about Priya as well, as she is not trying to talk to me much like before. Maybe she is thinking I am getting tired or something else. I am becoming confused these days and more suspicious about others.

    After some days

    Diary, I am shocked to know, Priya can do this to my son. She tried to get intimate to him. He is just a small boy of 10 years and she is trying to...I am not able to write, then how can she think about that.

    Today, when I returned, I didn’t see her in the house, so I got the chance to go to my son and he cried hugging me tightly and my heart broke into pieces with his each tear. I am not understanding anything diary. I think I should inform this to my father-in-law tomorrow and before that I have to make Anuj safe.

    Next date    

    Diary, I have send my son to his grandpa for one week saying he is feeling alone. Priya felt bad, but she kept quite, but I can see disappointment in her face. Not understanding how to deal with her.

    My father-in-law called me when I was in the meeting and told me something shocking, which I was not able to believe, but I think I should believe it and get investigation done about my husband’s accident as well.

    Somebody is knocking on the door, I think I should go, bye.

    The other day

    Diary, my son wants to come back, but I am not understanding how to stop him. My husband was right, he used to say, we did a big mistake by bringing Priya to this house and I thought he is over reacting.

    Now, I am struck in the whirlpool of events and I don’t have any idea how to come out of it.

    Priya is behaving normally as nothing has happened and my PI said, he will give the information till tomorrow morning about my husband's postmartem reports.

    I can’t throw her out nor can keep her with me. Maybe God send an angel to help me to get out of this situation.

    The other day

    Diary, my husband died in an accident, but the accident occured because of his heart attack. Heart attack to my husband and the report says his heart size was smaller than usual. How can it happen suddenly. 

    I called father-in-law and he asked me to first throw Priya out of my house. How can I do that diary?

    If I threw her out, then how can I protect my son?

    Diary please give me some idea, I am in dilemma, if I throw her out also it is dangerous and if I keep her in my house is also dangerous. Please God give me some idea.

    After some days

    Diary, I am sorry, but I won’t be able to meet you from tomorrow, as I don’t have any other option than kiling her. Today, I saw what she was doing with my son. 

    My son was behaving like a mad boy. He was looking blankly at the wall and when I tried to talk to him, he acted as if he has not listened to me, but as soon as Priya called him, he looked at her and smiled.

    Priya came smiling to him and hugged him tightly and kissed him on his lips and he kissed her back in front of me…

    I can’t let this happen to my son, diary. I will protect him from her at any cost. I know what I am going to do is dangerous and in that process, I will lose my life as well, but I can’t let my son die like my husband, diary, I can’t let my son die.

    Good bye diary, I am sorry I am leaving you in the middle, but you were my best friend from my college days and you will be always. Thank you for supporting at every point of my life.

    Naina closed the diary and looked at Anuj and he caught his head and said, “that boy was me…”

    All looked at him shocked.

    Yes, I have seen a dream where two ladies. I saw two ladies running towards the river and they boarded on the boat and I saw one boy was sitting there hugging his folded legs and looking towards the river.  Both went driving by themselves without helmsman and after they reached the middle of the river boat turned upside down and both drowned.

    “What else did you see, Anuj?” asked Vikram.

    One lady stood up and came to the shore by walking on the water and came near the boy and said, “you are also going to die soon like others” and disappeared.

    “This means that lady was Priya and the other lady who died was your mother,” said Vikram and looked Anuj and asked, “any idea how did your grandpa died?”

    No…

    “Okay, we will look into it later,” said Vikram and looked up and saw Peter standing there.

    “Peter...finished your treatment, to which doctor you went, that you came here so early?” asked KK teasingly.

    Anuj moved to give him place to sit, when Sneha said, he is not Peter.

    Anuj looked towards the dining table confused and looked at Peter.

    KK went near him and started to tease Peter, when he caught his neck and threw him forcefully on the floor and all looked at both of them and Naina cried in fear and hugged Anuj tightly looking at KK, who is lying on the floor and crying with pain.

    “Peter, what is that? Have you become mad or what?” Said Vikram going towards KK, who was lying on the floor.

    Anuj thought for some time and asked, “Priya, I think you should leave him, I am already married and we consummated our marriage.”

    I want you Anuj, I wanted your father, but he never came near me, but you came near me, we used to kiss each other for such a long time, how can you forget the time we spent together.

    I don’t remember anything Priya and now after knowing about you, I don’t want to remember also.

    You can’t cheat me Anuj, you have to come to me, otherwise, you know I can do anything to get you.

    Priya, leave Peter, he is already injured, why you are torturing an innocent just for your lust.

    Peter is already dead Anuj, said Sneha from behind.

    Naina searched near the couch, when she felt hand on her neck and she started shouting and Anuj came to her running and hit Peter with the vase kept on the middle table.
