Episode 18

“I also don’t know who am I to her,” said Anuj coming towards the patient.

    “Are you Mr. Saxena?” She asked looking at Anuj.

    He looked at her shocked and asked, “how do you know me?”

    She smiled and asked him to take a seat and sat beside him and said, “you resemble your mother.”

    “Yes, I resemble my mother, but who are you? How do you know about my mother?” he asked looking at the lady.

    She thought for some time and said, “I am the same nurse who assisted the doctor at the time of your mother’s delivery.”

Anuj thought for some time and asked, “do you know who is this lady? How she is related to me?”

“How you came here?” She asked looking at him.

He smiled looking at her and said, “the receptionist gave the number.”

“You are lying, she can’t do that,” said the nurse.

“Why can’t she do that?” He said and gave the paper in her hand.

She looked at it and saw that it was a blank paper.

He started laughing and said, “she looked at me and then acted like writing something on the paper and I saw what she was trying to write and reached this room.”

“You are smart, but how can you help her?” she asked looking at him confused.

“I want to know who is she and what happened to her?” asked Anuj.

    The nurse took a deep breath and said, “she is your twin sister and she met with an accident a few months ago and she is in a coma, but no one is understanding why she is in a coma.”

    “I didn’t get you, why no one is understanding?” Anuj asked looking at her confused.

    Your mother used to support me a lot and she paid me a lot of money for helping her and I used that money to consult various doctors, but no one was able to find out why she is in a coma.

Anuj thought for some time and asked, “did anybody know that she is here?”

Nobody knows about her, when she came here, somebody started to attack her and me and the receptionist planned to show the world that she died and hide her here.

Anuj went and sat near Sneha and said, “I promise you that I will take you to your Vikram, please open your eyes.”

“Do you think she will listen to you, and open her eyes,” asked the nurse smiling at him.

“I know why she is in a coma and she promised me that she will support me if I will help her,” said Anuj and held Sneha’s hand in his hands.

    “How much time it will take for her to recover after she gains consciousness?” asked Anuj looking at Sneha.

    “Maybe in one or two days or one week, not more than that,” said the nurse.

    “Can I take her home now?” he asked coming towards the nurse.

    “Don’t even think about it. As soon as you will take her body out of this room, she will be killed,” said the nurse.

    Anuj thought for some time and said, “she is your daughter,” and asked her to remove all the lines attached to her body.

    “Son, this is not a good idea, please we can think about something else,” she said.

    “We don’t have much time, please do it fast,” he said and went out and arranged some clothes for Sneha.

    The nurse removed all the lines and made her wear the dress brought my Anuj and came and sat beside Anuj and asked, “what are you planning to do now?”

    “Now, I have to arrange a car, but I am not understanding who to ask for help,” he said looking at his mobile.

    She smiled and took his phone and dialed one number and said, “car will be here in 10 minutes.”

    Anuj looked at her and asked, “don’t you think you are taking a risk?”

    She smiled and said, “I know someone is going to be killed, but I want that to be my daughter and not this girl.”

“Are you mad? How can you put your daughter’s life in danger? I am not going to accept this deal,” said Anuj and went towards Sneha.

The plan has been already implemented, no one can stop it or step back, not even you. When you came here I understood that you are in danger, which means she is also in danger, don’t you think I am also in danger.

I forgot that others can also be in danger, I thought, I am saving one lady who can help me, I didn’t think about others,” said Anuj putting his hand on his head.

“I had to reveal to you some other secret as well,” she said and sat beside him.

“How do you know secrets about my family?” He asked looking at her confused.

“Don’t ask anything, just listen to me,” she said.

    Your father started cheating on your mother when you were just a few years old. She came to know about the affair when that girl came and settled in their house. Your mother didn’t understand what to do in such a situation, so she killed your father by mixing some medicine in his food. 

    “You are lying to me and I am not going to listen to you,” he said and went near Sneha.

    “Why don’t you want to listen to me, handsome, I always told you the truth, but you always tried to run away from me, what is wrong with you,” said the nurse, and Anuj turned and looked at her shocked.

    The nurse started laughing loudly and Sneha’s bed flew into the air and started to spin.

Stop it Priya, it is too much, you can’t kill so many people for your ill satisfaction.

“I can do anything for you handsome, why don’t you come to me,” she said, but suddenly Anuj’s phone started to ring.

Anuj tried to catch the bed, it was spinning at full speed. He went and hit on the nurse’s head and she fell on the floor and the bed came back to its position.

Anuj ran towards the bed and took Sneha in his arms and ran out of the room and ran towards the exit. The receptionist saw what Anuj was doing and looked at the exit and saw one car was waiting there.

Before Anuj could reach the exit gate, it started to close and chairs started to fly in the air. The receptionist came near him with the blanket and covered him fully with the blanket and went and on the fire alarm and looked at Anuj and smiled.

As soon as the fire alarm was on, patients started to run outside creating a crowd and Anuj looked at the receptionist and saw that her head was bleeding, he stood there for some time, but she smiled and signaled him to go out.

Anuj ran outside and stood before the car and the lady smiled looking at him and opened the car door.

Anuj laid Sneha in the backseat and came and sat beside the lady in the passenger seat. The lady looked at him and ignited the car and started to drive the car towards Vikram’s house.

“I am sorry, I was not able to protect your mother,” he said looking at her.

“No problem, that is her destiny, I am not feeling bad for her,” she said without turning the head.

They reached Vikram’s house and saw that the door was open and Anuj looked at the lady and ran into the house and saw no one was in the house. He came back and took Sneha in his arms and went into the house and laid her on the couch and came back running and asked the lady to come inside.

“My work is over, I think I should leave now,” she said and ignited the car.

“You are not going anywhere, I can’t take risk of losing another life,” he said and came and stood in front of her car.

She stopped the car and went inside along with Anuj and said, “I know about you and your family, hope I will be of help to you in some way.”

Yes, I want to know something, hope your mother might have told you something about Sneha.

She thought for some time and said, “I am working as a private detective, and when my mom told me about Sneha, I did an investigation and found out something, and I hope it will be of help to you.”

“What did you found out?” He asked showing excitement.

She smiled and said, “she is your twin sister, your mother wrote a letter to her before she died. She used to receive money from your company every month and no one cared where the money was going, but one day your grandpa did enquire about it and found out that she is also his family member, but before he could bring her home, he died or maybe he was killed.”

Why grandpa thought of bringing her home?

I think to give her the rights, which she deserves, but I don’t have a clear idea about it.

“Okay, I don’t have any problem in giving her the rights as my family member,” he said and looked at her.

She completed her studies and got married, but she always wanted to meet you, so, she started to search for you and when she came to know that you are going to get married to Neena, she started doing an investigation about her.

“Now, why she did an investigation about Neena? Don’t you think you are confusing me with all these?” He asked looking at her.

“Mr. Saxena, I think you don’t have patience,” she said and smiled looking at him.

“It is all so confusing, you are telling about Neena, Sneha, mother, grandpa, I am not understanding what happened around me and why I was so ignorant about all these happenings,” he said getting irritated.

“Calm down Mr. Saxena, it is all destiny, no one can change it,” she said and made him sit on the couch.

“It was not their destiny, somebody killed them, and I know who did that,” said Anuj.

“Okay,” she said and started to look at Sneha.

“Why Sneha did an investigation about Neena?” asked Anuj when he saw the lady was in some deep thoughts.

She smiled looking at him and said, “Neena’s parents died a few years ago or you can say they were killed and their murder case was registered in the same police station in which Sneha took the charge as an Inspector.”

I think Neena’s parents were killed when she was very young and I don’t think Sneha joined the service at such a small age, then how come Sneha knew about that.

I didn’t say Sneha investigated the matter, try to understand my point, she was searching for something and she came across that file and was shocked to see something in it and she tried to contact you.

“I didn’t get any call from her,” said Anuj looking at her angrily.

She contacted your office and searched for you everywhere, but you were not found anywhere, as you were already in the hospital and were in a coma, and after that, you got married to your other friend Naina.

Then, why she didn’t try to contact me again?

She got busy with other cases and she worked on some orphanage issues and in the process of solving them, she fought with someone, and her husband had to come in between and settle the matter and she adopted one girl from that orphanage to protect her.

“Where is that girl now?” Anuj asked looking at her confused and he didn’t see any other girl in this house.

She died in that accident.

Okay, she died in an accident, but I am not understanding one thing, what she came to know in the file and why she tried to contact me, and then why stopped searching for me?

Sneha sat on the bed and looked at Anuj and said, “Neena died along with her parents, the girl with whom you were going to get married was not Neena, she was Priya, Neena’s body was used by Priya.”

Anuj went and sat near Sneha and said, “why you woke up, take some rest.”

I am tired of taking rest. I have to tell you the truth, I can’t sit here and look at everything happening around me.

Sneha, listen to me, what you are saying is not correct, as Naina was possessed by Neena and she left her and said she will return soon and she only made a deal with Naina to protect me from Priya.

Sneha started laughing and said, “you believed that spirit?”

Do you want to say, “Naina lied to me?”

“Mr. Saxena, I am not saying Naina, I said you can’t believe what spirit said,” said Sneha teasingly.

Can you tell me where are these people and where is Naina?

I also don’t know, I think Priya attacked me at the hospital and after that, I had to return to my body as I had no other option left.

“Mr. Saxena, I think the spirit has attacked them and they might be under her control,” said the other lady.

“So, you both concluded that there is no Neena, it is just Priya,” said Anuj looking at both of them.

“Yes, I have proofs,” both said in unison and looked at each other and started laughing.

“Arrrgh, stop laughing and search for them,” said Anuj looking at them angrily.

“Mr. Saxena, she won’t harm them because she doesn’t want them, so stop worrying about them and think about your dream and try to trace the location,” said the lady.

    “I just saw the river, and one boy, I don’t see anything more than that,” said Anuj. 

    “How did you lose your memory?” asked Sneha going and sitting beside him.

    “Which memory?” He asked looking at her confused.
