Date with Malachi

I pull up to Rio Bravo to meet Malachi around six that evening. The chilly air blows across my face and I zip up my jacket as I step out of the car. Under my jacket, I’m wearing a simple v-neck short sleeved cotton shirt that’s the same shade of green as my eyes with dark jeans. My hair is up in a long pony tail and my heeled boots make clicking noises as I walk. Entering the restaurant, I look around and see Malachi sitting at a table,waiving at me and smiling. Returning his smile, I walk past the host stand and join him, hanging my jacket and purse on the back of my chair before I sit. Chips and salsa sit on the table and my stomach growls.
