Chapter Eighteen
Friday morning was a blur of activity for both Sam and Alex. It didn't help either that Alex had been distracted by Sam's business proposition from last night. The idea made sense in a lot of ways, and he was excited about it. But was it too soon for the two of them to jump into business together? He knew he was on board, but would she still be when it came time for them to work together? That was the real question.
He was enlisted to get the cake over to the school tonight and was more than a little nervous about it. Sam was going to try to come, but it would depend on how caught up they were on other orders. Sweet Treats made a lot of the cakes and things for Christmas parties for businesses in the area, and they would keep her busy for a while.
