Chapter Nineteen
Sam was still tired from yesterday as she went through the motions of icing yet another Christmas-themed cake. Her usual pep was dampened by exhaustion, and she was probably going to call it an early day and get some sleep. To make matters worse, she was worried she was coming down with something as she hadn’t been feeling well all day. Alex looked exhausted too, but she was happy he had still gotten up and came in today.
She looked at her employees. Everyone was busting their butts to get things done before the orders were to be picked up, but they were all smiling. She was glad that they seemed to like their jobs as much as she did.
