Chapter 1
“Ahh, I’m here at last,” Emma said in happiness.
She drove up to the entryway of the lake house that her father’s friend Clarice owned. It was her first time staying at this location, and Emma was honored to have the weekend to herself. She couldn’t believe that it was happening like this. She was now 21, and she could spend her off time here with her father’s permission.
Her father was a rich investor, but his lake house wasn’t that nice. This was the summer home of his best friend, and the two of them still got along to this day. Emma was fortunate to be a daddy’s girl, for she could just ask her father to head there, and as long as his father got permission from Clarice, she could head there.
