“H-hey there. How may I help you?” she asked.
“Well, I was wondering if you could help me. There was a huge accident at the airport nearby, and I don’t have anywhere else to go. I could get a hotel, but of course my car stalled right in front here. My luck, right? I mean, I don’t want to impose on you or anything, but if you could help me out, that would be appreciated,” he said.
She blushed, knowing for sure that this wasn’t how her weekend was supposed to go. Her dad insisted that there would be no boys at the lake house, and if he found out, he would be pissed.
