A not so real love???

Melissa watches the water splashing on the boat's side. She can see the island afar. As the boat is getting far from her island. Leaving her innocence behind. But no... I can't be sad. I’m going to see Chris soon. I can tell him in person how much I love him. How much I want to be with him. With that in mind she begins to smile. Soon she closes her eyes.

The noisy rushing passengers woke her. She did not realize she had fallen asleep while thinking about her very daring decision. She hurriedly picks up her things. Soon she was part of the crowd rushing out the boat. There she was ready and wiling to take another bold step just for her love.

“See you in a bit”. Chris blinks his eyes as soon as he receives this message from Melissa. A faint smile draws on his lips and he shakes his head. “Looks like I will be put on a challenge today.hmmmmmm….”He did not realize Melissa will be true to her words. He challenges her last week to show up and prove her love to him. Of course, it was a just a joke for him. He didn’t expect Melissa would do it.

He scroll on his phone and dialled a number.Soon he was busy chatting on the other line laughing then and now, exchanging sweet nothings words. “I love you more…I’ll see you soon babe..Bye”.Then he close his phone.

Her phone beeps.She reads the address again and repeats it to the driver.Soon she was parked on the side of a plaza.”This is it??” She asked the driver.He slowly smiled and nod.”yes mam”. She gets a bill on her purse and slowly walk towards the place. She reaches out for her phone again and called Chris. “I’m here, where are you?”. She suddenly saw a man not far from where she was standing. He is slowly walking towards her direction. She can’t contain her emotions. Her chest is pounding so hard. She can’t almost breath. “Here comes the moment “. She silently said to herself.

Chris saw the girl as she steps down the cab. She seems restless. “She’s pretty”. He said to himself. He walks towards her direction. “Hi…” he said, as he reaches for her hand. “How’s your trip?” I assumed your hungry let’s go eat. He slowly led her to a nearby restaurant.

They sat facing each other on a corner of the restaurant. She keep on staring at the man infront of her.Her dream boy within her reach. “Is there something wrong?” Ask Chris. “Nothing…I just can’t believe that you are here now….” I’m so happy….” She smiled. He reaches her hand across the table and planted a soft kiss on it. “Sshhhh” We’ve only just begun…The night is still young my love…many things can still happen.Let’s eat now so we could go somewhere private,he said.

“Somewhere private…” the words keep ringing on her ears. “What does Chris mean with that…. could it be it….??? She shivers on the thought.No, maybe he doesn’t mean what she is thinking. Maybe she just overthinks. They eat happily, like they have known each other for so long. Smiles and small talks then and now…while Chris never stops from kissing her hand now and then.It made her blush. So this is how it feels, being with your love this close.Ohhhhh…she is so happy!!!!!! She can’t help but reminisce those days when she and Chris first met.
