Chapter 33 Philippe Shauna stood in front of what Philippe assumed was General Nurzan’s door when he and his guard approached. She looked much better now that the mud and grime had been washed away, but the bruises, cuts, and the black band that twinned the one on his wrist stood out starkly on her skin. She did look a bit more awake, but there were deep bags around her eyes, a pain a bath couldn’t wash away.
