Anna's POV
I woke up, feeling a bit at ease. Today was the fifth day since I left the city for the countryside...
I needed to clear my mind and process my thoughts. I just wanted a calm and quiet environment, reason why I came here. My heart felt significantly lighter than before. I stepped out of the bed, hoping to help grandma Sarah with some house chores and subsequently accompany her to the farm...
After searching for her all over the house, I couldn't find any trace of the old woman. Maybe she had something to handle, I thought to myself...
I washed the few dirty dishes, swept and tidied up the old kitchen, before taking out time to clean every corner of the house. There were a lot of trees around that often shed leaves, dirtying her compound. I began sweeping it, when I spotted two figures walking into the compound chatting and laughing heartily...
I recognized the older person, as she happened to be my grandma, but the other person, I had no idea of he was...
"Hi, good morning" I greeted the young man politely before turning to my grandmother...
"Grand ma..."
"Good morning" the young made nodded at me, while my grandmother simply smiled.
The young man was holding a bag, which I couldn't really make out what was inside.
"Grandma, where fid you go to very early in the morning?" I asked the old woman..
"Early? At what time do you go to work in that big city of yours? Anyways, I went to harvest some vegetables. I want to make some specially for you"
I smiled at her words. Ever since I came here, she had been taking very good care of me. Since childhood, each time I got worried or too anxious, I'll always come here to visit her. She wasn't really my grandmother. She was a woman who had once saved me when I was still a kid.
That night, Roy and I got into a fight as he ruined my favorite dress, bleaching it. I was so angry and ran out of the house. I went a good distance away. I was walking aimlessly, when a truck suddenly appeared infront of me.
I panicked, fear written all over me, when I was suddenly pushed. For a moment, I felt like I was in another world, not until I heard someone ask " are you alright?" That's when I knew I was really still alive.
She had taken me to her place, since I was yet to recover from the shock. She took very good care of me and the following day, I returned home...
Of course my parents scolded me, but I couldn't bring myself to tell them the reason I slept out.
Since then, ever since I felt down, I'll always come here. To me, she was like family...
I often visited her with gifts though this time around I didn't buy any. I never told anyone about her, so that no one will find me whenever I disappear...
"Oh, granny, so you won't take care of me anymore" the young man beside her said, pouting playfully...
"Naughty boy" my grandmother said, a teasing smile on...
"Forgive me! Anna, this is David. David, she's Anna, the girl I told you about" she introduced us, giving the man a knowing look...
So his name was David...
"Hi Ann" David smiled, waving his hand to at me...
"Hello.." I replied, returning the smile...
"Well, she's beautiful right?" My grandmother said while David nodded his head vigorously...
"I wonder how her kids will look like. Definitely like angels" David said playfully and my grandmother commented...
"Exactly!"
I smiled, trying to picture my kids, then a sudden realization crossed my mind, my smile instantly disappearing...
The other two exchanged looks, taken aback by my sudden change in expression...
"What's wrong? Did something bad happen? Or did we say something wrong?" My grandmother asked, worried...
I looked at her, my eyes suddenly becoming watery. I stared at David, wondering wether or not to open up...
"Go on! I've explained everything to him. He can be trusted" she urged me, patting my back, reassuring me...
"I've been here for five days. Since that incident, I hadn't taken any precautions. I might be pregnant" I dropped the bomb, feeling a load of weight hetched in my heart...
My grandmother understood and pulled me inside the house with David trailing behind...

Kevin sat in his office lost in his own world. Last night, Kelly had come to him, scolding and even hitting him accross his face, in defense of her friend...
His mind had been crowded with thoughts of how to break Abel. Yes he wanted to see Anna, but knew she needed time...
After the incident with Kelly, last night his mind had been in a mess...
Kelly had mentioned that if Anna got pregnant, there were possibilities of her ending up as a single mother...
With that thought in mind, he was very well aware of the fact that Abel hadn't reacted yet. He needed to find Anna first...
He was thinking of where she may be, when Jay walked in...
"You sounded off on the phone" Jay said, entering the office and settling down...
"I need you to find a private investigator. Someone with very good capabilities to find Anna as soon as possible" Kevin said...
"Really? Why the sudden change of mind? I thought you said she needed time?"
"Yes, but something came up" Kevin replied...
Jay raised a brow as if asking him to explain further...
"Well, Anna might be pregnant"
With his words Jay understood.
"But how sure are you? She might have taken precautions" Jay said...
"If she took precautions, then it's good, if not, then she certainly is. I did my calculations. She wasn't safe" Kevin explained his gaze darkening as he recalled everything that happened that day...
"Okay! If she's pregnant, what will you do?" Jay asked...
"Well, she'll have to flush that thing out. She can't have that child. That child must not live" Kevin said, his voice cold...
"I understand, but don't you think that's a bit too cruel?"
"Well, Abel hasn't reached her yet. We need to get to her first before he does, else, I can guarantee he's going to protect her and the baby"
"Okay. But don't you think it's best to tell rose Abel got Anna pregnant? She'll certainly be forced to tell Abel the truth and it may affect its health" Jay explained...
Kevin shot him a glare as if telling him that idea wasn't good at all...
"Find her!" Kevin ordered, before standing up, preparing to leave...

Roy stared at the CCTV footage before him, wondering where his sister had disappeared to...
Though he told Abel she was going to come around, he couldn't help but worry himself. His mind was in a total mess.
He zoomed the CCTV footage, and the expression on the lady's face was nothing but hurt...
He took a closer look, and upon proper inspection, her eyes appeared puffy as though she had been crying for long...
With this though, his heart ached. He knew that Anna always ran away from home whenever her heart felt heavy. She always went to somewhere no one could find her. But she had never stayed out this long. Sheade sure to return after three days, at most. Could it be that she was in some sort of trouble?
Abel had been searching for her since the day she disappeared, so where on earth was she?
Now that he was thinking about it, Kevin wasn't really bothered about her. Could it be that it was really their plan?
But the look in her face didn't show that she was acting at all...
He looked at it again, carefully examining it and he caught site of another thing...
She wasn't walking properly...
She was trying hard to adjust her walket, but it wasn't working...
He tried piecing one on one...
His sister was in a private suit that day. When he had gone to collect the CCTV footage, he was told the camera wasn't working, until the early hours of that morning, which captured her leaving the private suit of the bar at about 8 am...
It's obvious she had spent the night there. Could she really have stayed there without Kevin being aware? No!
That day when Kevin came asking after her, he appeared worried and scared. His eyes were filled with guilt. Looking at the CCTV footage again, his sister's eyes were swollen and she was struggling to walk normally.
Being a doctor, he definitely knew what it meant. Either she spent the night with him, or he rapped her, but the second option was likely to be real...
With that thought in mind, Roy felt like exploding. He just wanted to see his sister, and know her whereabouts...
If Kevin had truly rapped his sister, then he wasn't going to take things lightly.
No one could mess around with his sister and go Scot free, irrespective of who it was...
He had already been angry enough that his girlfriend wanted to have an abortion and now this...
At this point, he looked more like a lion ready to devour...
