I stared at her, my mind struggling to catch up.
“How?” My voice came out quieter than I intended, but I couldn’t hide the disbelief. I had nothing to offer Alpha Sia…nothing she could possibly find useful. My powers had been locked away for so long that they felt more like a rumor than something real inside me.
She tilted her head, watching me like she was considering how best to explain it. “Oh, in a lot of ways,” she finally said, as if it were obvious. “First of all, we need to break that pesky little bond your mate placed on you. Did you mark him as well?”
