KELITA
“Mother, are you sure about this?” I whispered, “What if we get caught?”
Not like I cared about Leeyah or whatever, but I was scared of what might happen if the warriors caught sight of what Mother wanted to do.
“I am still scared for the last time,” I muttered under my breath.
Implicating Leeyah and putting her in this dangerous position was all Mother's idea. I still wonder how she got the other guy to do the job.
“Do you want to be in power or not?!” She snapped.
“You have to do away with all of these petty emotions you are feeling. Don't think for a second she'd hesitate to destroy you if she had the chance. That is why we must act before she does!” she concluded.
“What if Matthias ends up accepting her after we do this?”
“You have nothing to worry about. I have everything under control,” Mother answered in a low tone.
“And the guards?”
“They will be taken care of,” she added.
I sighed. “Okay, Mother. Let's do this then.”
I watched as my mother picked up her phone and dialed a number, “You can come in now. She is ready,” she said over the phone.
Who was she talking to?
I was still pondering on that when a figure walked in holding a small red bag in his left hand. The figure was putting on a hoodie making his face veiled and Mother spoke out, “You can show yourself, son.”
He pulled off his hoodie and my eyes widened in surprise. It was Jonas.
“Mother, what is this? Why is Jonas here? Don't you know he is with Leeyah? He can't be in on this!” I uttered.
Mother gave a smirk. “Will you calm down and let me handle this? Who do you think got us the potion we used to get your father sick?”
They both laughed. I watched as Jonas moved closer and gave me a kiss on the cheek. “I never loved your sister, Kelita. I have always been attracted to you.”
“But she is your mate” I stammered, not believing what was going on.
“Mate?" he spat in disdain. "Even the Goddess forbid that I be married to that evil girl. Leeyah has an evil origin. She made her mother lose her life, and you expect me to be mated to such a person?”
He held my hands and whispered to my ears, “Together, we can rule this kingdom; with you by my side as my queen,” he snarled at me all of a sudden.
That instant, he turned to my mother, and what came out of his mouth next was a total shock to me,”Mally, haven't you told to her yet? Or does she still not know we are the rightful heirs to the throne?”
He addressed my mother by her name! That was a lot, even for me.
Mother nodded. “I'm sure she understands everything now, Jonas,”
“What's in there?’ I asked cautiously, pointing to the red bag.
“It's for your father to leave us completely,” Jonas answered coldly.
“You see... I thought making your father sick and helpless would make him a weak king, but your father is just too stubborn. He's still hell bent on giving out orders and even exercising authority on the sick bed.” Mother said.
“That Goddess forsaken thing that calls himself my husband..now Jonas has brought a permanent solution; ending him silently,” she whispered the last parts of the sentence.
“Is it going to be in pains?” I asked out of concern.
“I promised your mother..it would be smooth and silent,” Jonas assured.

“What bullshit are you telling me? “Was that the agreement?” I yelled.
I turned to Mother who was seated with her arms spread across the chair. “Mother, can you hear the nonsense he is telling me? I thought I told you I don't want to hear any news about my sister.”
“You couldn't make her vanish after everything we planned out for her?" I groaned. “Look! You have to do something about this. Leeyah can't be alive. Is Alpha Matthias supposed to just let her go? “What she did was a forbidden act in Wolfendon and punishable by death!”
“I have no say in this, Kelita.” Jonas responded. “I am only telling you what my spy told me. She was found taking shelter in another pack after Matthias rejected and sent her away. What would you have me do at this moment?”
“Jonas, she can't be left alive. I don't trust that b***h! She would do anything to take everything away from us. You know what needs to be done Jonas, handle it,” Mother said to him.
He looked at me like he needed more confirmation and I nodded my head in response.
“Leeyah shouldn't be alive!” I muttered.

I paused, reflecting on the situation.
“This is a major advantage for us.”
“If I have Leeyah in custody, I can use her to get to her father and dethrone him from that seat of power that he so much cherishes. She is a good tool for use. There is no way I am letting go of this one, or what do you think?” I turned to Eden who kept looking at the guard who took Leeyah away.
"Eden?" I called. "Hey, you want to go with her to my quarters?” I shouted at him.
“Not at all. I…I am sorry. You were saying something, Leader??” He stuttered.
I scoffed. “You aren't lusting after her, are you? She is royalty, remember?”
“My head is in the game a hundred percent. I can't lust after her a lady who doesn't even know what has befallen her,” he answered in a haste.
“Good. I need your sanity and focus now that we have her. She is going to be our way into the palace,” I smiled.
All these while, our plans had been to infiltrate Bartho's Grand Hall but it is like the most secured place in the whole of the kingdom.
It was a risky move I was willing to take however I knew I would be endangering the lives of so many in the pack. They pledge their loyalty to me and they would die for me, anytime, anyday. That I was sure of
But now…
I found a way to minimise casualties.
I made my way to my quarters to meet Leeyah, who I found rolling on the floor.
“Are you okay?” I held her still.
Her body had become red hot and her muscles were weakened.
“I knew you were still going to feel this. The woods are not like the palace, princess…”
Asides being a leader of the rebels, I was their healer. I made her sit up and touched her body with my hands, squeezing it and she groaned in pain.
“Shhh….You will be fine. Allow your body respond to my powers gently,” I said.
She gasped and fell flat, unconscious.
“Alpha Sia?” I heard the voice of one of my wolf warriors.
“Alpha Sia, your attention is needed at the Circle.”
I peeped from the door. “There is no way I am coming to the Circle. The new lady needs to be completely healed before I can leave,” I replied. “Say what you have to say here. Don't worry, it's fine.”
“The spies are back and they bring reports,” he said.
“What is it? Spill”
He tilted his head to see if Leeyah was awake and whispered, “Her father has been murdered! The kingdom is in ruins”
