Eden was disappointed again.
His face looked like he was going to demand an explanation.
But I couldn't afford to tell him anything about the mess that had become my life.
“Something has happened, and you are not sharing it with me,” Eden said to me as he crossed his arms to his chest.
I looked away, trying not to get distracted by the memories of our time together. They hadn’t left me since I walked out of his bedroom.
