Alpha Matthias
My wolf snarled.
“Was this a test from Jonathan or what?” I growled, pacing.
Does he think I'm a child? Or worse, that I would stoop so low as to take that ugly hoe he calls his daughter as my wife?!
Hell f*****g no!
Even the Moon Goddess would pour down her rage on me if I ever move close to that b***h!
No way!
I tightened my fist and smashed the wall behind me.
“What do we do?” I sought for my wolf within.
“I need a mate!” I shouted. “And this... this is what they bring me, that thing?”
“We'll show them why we are called the Darkwolf!” My wolf growled in response.
A wicked grin spread across my face.“Exactly. Those wretched fellows need to know the kind of Alpha I am”
I stormed out of the room in anger and took with me a few warriors, heading out into the woods.
“Where is your Leader?” I voiced out angrily at the wolf guard who stood at the entrance.
“Where is Alpha Jonathan? I want to see him right away!” I barked.
The guard stiffened. “Alpha Jonathan is indisposed at the moment and can't see you,”
“Oh, I see," I sneered. "That's his plan? Leave me with that thing so he can die off like a rat? I demand to see him now!”
I could feel my wolf fighting to take over, furious and ready to charge in.
Suddenly, I heard a voice from inside calling out to the wolf guard, I didn't even bother to know who it was. I rushed and there I met Jonathan in his sleeping robe.
“Matthias, my son in-law," he greeted, "What brings you here? Shouldn't you be at your honeymoon with your wife, my daughter,”
I let out a bitter laugh. “Over my shredded skin, Jonathan.Your daughter is nothing but a bitchass wolf, and thank the Goddess I caught her before it was too late”
His eyes narrowed in confusion. “What are you talking about?”
The surprised look he wore on his face got me pissed. “Here, show him the pictures,” I handed them over to the wolf guard.
Jonathan's face paled as he stared at the evidence. His mouth fell open in shock.
“This is unbelievable... This can't be her. No, it just can't be!”
“Believe it or not, your daughter is a w***e, and you are the last to find out!”
He went down on his knees that instant before me.“Please. She is the only one I have to give for this alliance to come through.”
“... I'm sure we can work something out. There must be a mistake somewhere. My daughter can't…”
“I'd prefer you cut it right there, Jonathan.” I interrupted. “Your daughter is not who she says she is. And I have made my decision,”
“The alliance is off! You and your daughter can rot in hell for all I care.”

Leeyah'S POV
Maybe it was a dream. Or maybe I was stuck in limbo or whatever they call the world in between.
I could hear the sound of my heartbeat like it was outside my chest. Fear enveloped me as I heard different voices around me. I blinked my eyes repeatedly hoping to wake up in the shelter of my father at least. At least his shouting would be familiar, even bearable.
But I knew this wasn't the case. I wasn't home.
“I know you can hear me, young woman. Open your eyes.” a voice spoke.
I struggled to open them wide as the light from the open curtains slid through and hit my lenses. I looked around and all I could see were blue wolves in different shades.
This was definitely not Matthias's pack home, and it not mine either.
“Where in hell am I? How did I get here?” I muttered.
The lady scoffed. “I will ask the questions for now.
Her wolf was bright blue and her eyes were creamy white before she finally transformed and touched me.
“I am Sia", she began, "The healer of this pack and…”
“Alpha of our dear pack so watch your next words carefully,” another person from nowhere interrupted.
Sia smiled. “Meet Eden, one of my most trusted aides in the pack. He is a genius and a great warrior,” .
Eden didn't bother with pleasantries. “Who are you and where are you from?”
Still marveling at the fact that I was standing in front of the Alpha of a whole pack, I paid no attention to the question asked.
I envied her position. A position I ought to be occupying now if only my marriage with Matthias was successful.
“Are you going to say something?” Eden asked.
“The only reason you are here is because I allowed it. That path you were treading in the woods isn't a safe one even for your kind,” Sia said with so much authority in her tone.
“My kind?”
“Aren't they wolves like me?” I pondered.
“Oh yes we are!” Sia interrupted.
Wait, how did she do that? Did she just read my thoughts in that short time?
She smirked. “Don't be surprised. You let your guard down.”
“Your name?” She asked.
“Leeyah Solace,” I answered in a haste. It was as though she cast a quick spell on me and I couldn't help but spill out my personal info so easily.
“Solace... hmmm... so you are the wayward daughter of King Bartho Solace,” she smirked.
Her smirk deepened. “Do you know you are wanted everywhere? You have shamed your kingdom and your father's name.”
“Do you even know where you are?” Eden said aloud.
I had not the slightest idea but I was eager to know. Even about this place was foreign yet mesmerizing, even their skin.
Sia laughed softly. “Perhaps she thinks she is in a regular pack house.”
She gestured toward the wolves around her. “Look around. These men are rebels”
“I, also, am a rebel. So you are in the midst of dangerous people, young lady.”
I shivered. At least, that was what was expected of me to do, even though I didn't feel that much fear for some unexplainable reasons. I noticed how Eden kept staring at me like he wanted to rip me apart.
“Take her to my quarters,” Sia instructed one of the wolf guard who was standing guard behind her.
I followed the guard reluctantly, my thoughts racing.
What were they planning to do to me?
