I stood in the cold, waiting for Alpha Matthias to meet me at the agreed-upon location.
Only Jonas knew about this meeting…he was the one who set it up, after all.
The hairs on the back of my neck stood up, and I immediately knew I was no longer alone.
"You’re quite brave to be out here all alone. Surely, the Goldenwolf pack doesn’t have such loose security," a chilly voice said from behind me.
