I woke up on the floor, my head throbbing. For a few seconds, I just lay there, trying to get my bearings. For a moment, the world spun around me.
Blinking against the disorienting haze, I pushed myself up on shaky arms.

Then, like a dam breaking, the memories crashed over me. The attack. Leeyah. She had been here. In my room.
