Lori's POV: I felt cold dread wash all over me as the distance between Jonas and I reduced. He was soon standing over me, looking closely at me. There was a glint in his eyes that promised that this was far from over. His hand lifted toward my face, and I shut my eyes on instinct. “You’re scared of me,” he murmured.
