Pregnant?
I blinked at Sia. Surely I hadn't heard her right, she couldn't have just said what I thought she said.
"Wh- what did you say?", I asked her, my voice trembling.
"I said you're two weeks pregnant," she repeated calmly.
So I hadn't made a mistake. I had in fact heard her right, but maybe she was the one who was making a mistake. There was no way that I was pregnant.
"But that's impossible", I told her.
She wrinkled her nose disapprovingly at me.
"Are you slow? I'm telling you, you are two weeks pregnant, and you're saying it's impossible. How can it be impossible if you're already pregnant?", she asked sarcastically.
I stared at her, she looked very confident in her words and she was a healer, so she wouldn't make any random mistake, but pregnant?
