Luna Mally's POV:
"She's gone," Jonas said.
I stared at him like he had lost his mind…because he must have if he thought I cared about anyone other than my daughter right now.
"Who is gone, and why should I care?" I snapped. "I told you to keep my daughter safe at all times, but you let some of those freaks get to her! Now she’s telling me she saw Leeyah this evening…and that Leeyah hurt her!"
My voice rose with every word, my anger boiling over as I glared at Jonas. But he just stood there, staring at me like he was seeing me for the first time.
He shook his head before finally speaking.
