Immediately the ship wanted to perform a medical scan of his body and repair any abnormalities. This he turned off. He didn't want to add any more information to the ship about his hybrid body than what was already there. He'd done many of his own repairs and was sure that his mother would find more injuries, and though he didn't want her to know what had occurred at the hands of the human kidnappers, he also knew that she would insist on examining him and would therefore figure out much of it. Bilal closed his eyes and relaxed, allowing the ship to nourish him in the way that he was accustomed to. Centaurians did not need to eat with their mouths although they could mimic the act for the sake of humans. He'd certainly learned to do it although it was more natural to connect to the ship
