Reborn Luna: The last Stand

Alice looked at the once clear ground that was now covered in blood and bodies, human, witch, Lycan and vampires. So many races were scattered on the ground. It was a bloodbath . The sun was about to set and once it did these blood sucker would become stronger than they were and she and the werewolves would have no chance of winning. She had to end this now. The witches were down. She was one of the very few standing. She couldn't fall, she was their leader after all. She brought her hands together to create another energy ball as the witches were losing. She had to do something fast. She clapped her hands and a flashes of light emmited from between her fingers as a ball that glowed appeared when she pulled her hands apart. The farther she pulled her hands away from. each other, the brighter it glowed. When her hands were far apart. She muttered something under her breath. And felt the warm blood trickle down her nose. This was her limit but she wouldn't stop. She just couldn't. She was about to finish muttering the spell when a knife pierced through her from behind and appeared in front of her with blood trickling down the sword that protruded from her abdomen. Suddenly everything was a blur as she fell to the ground. Looking up she saw the least expected person looking down at her. Roxanna? But... she was the king's advisor. How could she.. She heard Roxanna say something but the burning pain didn't let her decipher what it was. The pain in her abdomen didn't compare to the pain she felt in her heart. She had failed her family, she had failed humanity and she had failed Gabriel. Was this her end? Was she going to die in the hands of this evil woman? Oh.. How foolish she had been. Roxanna was a snake. A snake who deceived them all. She would make her pay. She swore she would.... Alice woke up to the sound of a light metals clashing. She opened her eyes to look at the exquisite ceiling. She looked around to find a well furnished room. Beside bed she could see a woman whom she guessed to be a physician gathering her tools. When was the last time she saw a physician? That aside. How was she here. Did she get captured by the vampires? She Started to panic but the physician came to her side " Shhhhhhhh. calm down. You're OK. Everything is just fine. " She sounded so nice. Shw didn't have time to ponder on why because the door opened and in came a pair of black boots. Looking up she saw black trousers and a grey shirt. Alpha Gabriel? How could it be? She had left him 9 years ago. He had let her go after he reached his limit of tolerating her tantrums. He had died before the war... what ...what was going on? "Your majesty, I had just checked on her. Her condition is now stable, she will be fine" The woman said with her head bowed to her alpha. Was she dreaming? If this was a dream she didn't want to wake up. But he looked so real. Everything was so clear and real, almost surreal. Coming closer she smelt his natural scent which she hadn't smelt in years. He was still dangerously handsome as ever with his waist length raven black hair and moon grey eyes. He stood by her bed looking down at her. She had a mixture of emotions on her face. Fear, anxiety, doubt, longing? Maybe he misread that one. "Leave" He said in a deep voice. The woman quickly gathered her things and left, leaving just the two of them in the room. He looked at her for good number of seconds before he exhaled tiredly. He took a seat beside her And looked ahead. while she was busy thinking of the multiple possibilities that might have occurred to have her end up here, he was thinking of how stupid this woman could be. slitting her wrist? Did she really hate him that much?! "why? " Alice heard him say. " Why would you do that?" he said looking at her " Do you hate me that much?" " You have been beyond childish and I have tolerated you but slitting your wrist? That is the limit. I am trying to be the nice guy but you want me to be the bad guy don't you? " wait, slitting her wrist? Alice looked down at her wrist to see it wrapped. She hadn't felt the pain because she was preoccupied thinking about what had happened to make her end up here. Her life was hard but she wasn't unreasonable enough to want to end it. The only time she had tried that was when she was still in Ronin castle but that was years ago.. .. Oh heavens.... had she been reborn? But rebirth wasnt possible. Was it? But everything was happening just like she remembered it. The forceful marking causer her to fall ill but she recovered after months of treatment. Alice didn't know if she should be happy or scared at what had just happened to her. He looked angry and disappointed. Oh how lucky was she to have been given a second chance? This was amazing news, she could fix her mistakes. She could stop the war from happening. She could save. .Gabriel. She was still in a daze when he called out her name " Alice, what are you thinking of? Another way to end your life? Well guess what, I won't let you. " " I'm ...I'm sorry your majesty " She stuttered. "Gabriel, you address me as Gabriel. " He said with clenched jaws. " Gabriel. I'm sorry it won't happen again. " Gabriel stared at the red haired young woman before his eyes. She was acting strange. Very strange. She would usually retort with a ' you can't control me' but she was apologizing? Was this another trick? But why? He couldn't figure out this woman. She always found a way to piss him off. She was lucky she was his mate. Had it been anyone else doing even a little of what she did to him everyday, their heads would be hanging from the scaffold. Gazing into her hazel eyes which had bewitched him, he spoke again " If this is another one of your tricks, it's not working. You will be punished for your actions. I had thought I would wait till you were willing to accept the mate bond but after your previous actions I have come to discover that I have to do things my way.
