I blinked rapidly and a frown formed on my face. "Ew!" I exclaimed, furrowing my eyebrows.
"What do you mean by that?" Brandon asked with a deep frown plastered on his face.
"It's so cringed," I said, shrugging.
"Indeed," he scoffed. "By the way, you mentioned coming early because of something you saw in Maris's room. What was it? What did you see?"
"Something shocking," I whispered, and his eyebrows raised.
"What is it?" he asked, and I chuckled, then covered my mouth with my hand.
"Wow, so the Alpha King can get curious too. That's cute," I said, and he hissed.
"Hey, we have feelings and emotions too. You think we can't cry or get sick? Some of us even have phobias too!" he said.
"Phobias?" I asked.
"Yes!" he replied, nodding.
"Meaning, the fear of something?" I asked.
