However, looking at the three little ones with their pitiful eyes, Monica finally relented. "I can sign, but I want to add a clause to the contract: no one outside can know about our relationship." "Deal!" Gavriel Mason nodded. Then, Monica quickly signed her name with a flourish. With a swift motion, she slammed the contract against Gavriel's chest. "Now can we leave?" Satisfied with the signature, Gavriel turned to his people and ordered, "Let them go!" Immediately, the three little ones hurriedly scampered over to Monica, throwing themselves into her arms. "Mommy!" "Shh! Don't be scared! Let's go home with Mommy." Monica let out a quiet sigh of relief as she wrapped her arms around the three of them. She shot Gavriel a fierce glare before quickly leading the little ones toward the exit. She couldn't wait to get out of this dreadful place. "Don't forget, be ready and on standby. My dear little maid," Gavriel called out, a sly smile creeping onto his lips as he unexpectedly reminded her. "…" Monica stumbled slightly, almost losing her balance. Clenching her fists, her teeth ground together in frustration. That damn guy! One day, she would make him pay for this. As she fumed, she quickened her pace, ushering the three little ones out of the West Mountain villa and straight to the car. With a sudden press on the gas pedal, the car shot forward. Monica Davis's expression was grim as she thought about that unfair agreement, and she remained silent. The atmosphere in the car became tense and heavy. The three little ones exchanged guilty and anxious glances. Finally, Greig mustered the courage to speak first, lowering his head with a look of remorse. "Mommy, I'm sorry." Brandon Davis nervously fidgeted with his fingers, his voice barely above a whisper. "It was our fault, Mommy. Please don't be mad, okay?" Lila's eyes were red, and she looked like a little princess in distress. "That big bad guy was bullying Mommy. We just wanted to stand up for you and protect you." Hearing this, Monica Davis snapped back to reality and noticed the worried expressions of her three little ones in the rearview mirror. She pressed the gas pedal again and pulled the car over to the side of the road. Turning to face them, she was met with their anxious little eyes, and her heart ached for them. Having grown up without a father, the little ones seemed more mature than their peers, always worried about being hurt and wanting to protect themselves. Looking at their innocent faces, Monica felt a mix of gratitude and sorrow. "Ah!" She let out a soft sigh and spoke earnestly, "Mommy isn't angry. I'm just worried about you. You can't do dangerous things like this again. I can handle the bad guys on my own, okay?" "Okay! We understand! We promise!" The three little ones nodded obediently. “How are you? Did any of you get hurt?” Monica Davis lifted her hand and affectionately rubbed the chubby little cheeks of the three kids. “No!” “We're so awesome, how could we get hurt!” “Exactly, exactly!” The three little ones broke into smiles, quickly forgetting their earlier fears as they rushed into Monica's embrace. Feeling warmth in her heart, Monica hugged them tightly and said softly, “Alright! Let’s go home! You sneaked out like this, your big brother must be worried sick!” “Okay!” At her words, the three kids nodded sheepishly. And the truth was, Ansel was indeed in a bit of a predicament. He was locked in a room, the door was bolted shut, and his phone had been taken away, leaving him unable to contact Monica. Sitting on the floor like a little adult, he puffed up his cheeks in frustration, his eyes wide open in disbelief. Hmph! How dare these little ones disregard his authority as their big brother? Just wait until they got back; he would show them who was in charge. Meanwhile, after Monica and the kids had been gone for quite a while, Gavriel Mason finally turned to head back. “Those two little troublemakers are something else. Not like that little girl, so well-behaved and cute, looking just like a little princess.” Suddenly, he murmured softly to himself. A subtle smile, so faint that he didn’t even notice it, tugged at the corners of his lips. Aside from his own son, Leonard Mason, he had never liked other kids. Yet this time, he found himself not disliking these three little ones at all. Even more surprisingly, he felt an inexplicable sense of warmth toward them. “Uh…” Matthew Carter behind him widened his eyes in disbelief, nearly dropping his jaw. Oh my! Has the master suddenly changed his ways? But then again, why did those three little ones have similar features to Gavriel Mason? Could it be that they were his illegitimate children, and that the master had been involved with Monica Davis long ago? At the thought of this, Matthew nearly scared himself to death with his ridiculous speculation, breaking out in a cold sweat as he shook his head vigorously. No way, that’s absolutely impossible. Soon after, the master and servant entered the building, one after the other. Under the banyan tree, Leonard Mason leaned out halfway, watching Gavriel Mason's retreating figure. A gloomy expression that didn’t match his age crossed his small face. His hands were tightly clenched. With his temperament, how could he not notice Gavriel Mason’s fondness for those three little ones? Leonard Mason had been sent back to Gavriel Mason's side by his mother, Isabel Davis, since he was a child. Although he lived a life of luxury and privilege, he had become a proud Dominik son. However, emotionally, he always felt a void. Isabel's attitude toward him was inconsistent; while there were moments of closeness, they were mostly to please Gavriel. Whenever they were alone, her demeanor turned cold and dismissive. Since he couldn't receive a mother's love, Leonard had come to see Gavriel as his everything. Now, the arrival of these three little ones filled him with a strong sense of crisis. No! No one could take his dad away from him. With that thought, a flash of anger flickered in Leonard's eyes... Gavriel Mason reached the study door, pushed it open, and walked straight in. Matthew Carter followed closely behind him. To their surprise, as soon as they entered, they were completely stunned. The room looked like a battlefield, utterly wrecked and beyond recognition. All the famous paintings had been defaced, the artwork wild and imaginative yet undeniably childish. Antique jade pieces lay shattered on the floor, fragments scattered haphazardly, their broken edges sharp and menacing. Even the documents in the filing cabinet hadn’t escaped the chaos. In short, the damage was devastating, a complete disaster. "This... did that little girl do this?" Matthew Carter exclaimed, his eyes wide with shock as he looked at the pale-faced Gavriel Mason beside him. Who was it that just praised Lila for being sweet and adorable?
