I still remember the first impression when I just meet him. He might saved me from some gangster, but he himself is a predator who can’t let go of his prey. He just a hero with hidden motive.

But why can’t I ignored him like everyone else? Why the universe like to match me with him in any condition? Every corner I take he’s in there, it’s like he knows where I go.

And what even more cruel is …

When I’m finally give in, the universe ready to fight me so I can’t be with him.

Maybe the universe just like to tease me. Someone who is demaged and got nothing left, except my mother and my bestfriend who will mourn when I’m gone.

Maybe my ex is right. No one is ever gonna love something broken and a used goods. Nobody gonna love someone like me.

Deal With The Devil
‘I know this night will end up like this. If I don’t listen to Neil’s words, I will not be in a situation like this.’ Flashback The bass of the music vibrated through the floorboards of the club, a rhythmic thumping that felt more like a headache than a beat. Neon strips of violet and electric blue sliced through the haze of cigarette smoke and expensive cologne. Reon leaned against the velvet wallpaper of a private booth, his fingers tracing the rim of a glass of sparkling water. He watched Neil, his best friend, lose himself in the center of the dance floor. Neil was a blur of motion, limbs flailing with a joyful lack of coordination that made Reon’s lips twitch in a faint, ghost of a smile. Around them, the air was a thick, cloying of pheromones. Alphas postured, their scents aggressive and territorial, while Omegas fluttered like moths around the brightest lights. Reon remained still in the chaos. His own scent—crisp mint and the soft, floral exhale of white lilies—was tucked tight against his skin, a guarded secret. He felt a profound sense of boredom that bordered on physical pain. "You're doing it again," Neil shouted, sliding back toward the booth, sweat glistening on his forehead. Reon blinked. "Doing what?" "Looking at the world like it's a boring documentary on snails," Neil panted, grabbing a napkin to wipe his face. "It's Italy, Reon! We're in one of the hottest spots in the city. Stop being a statue and dance with me." Reon sighed, the sound lost in a sudden drop of the beat. "I've had enough of the noise. I'm going to the restroom." "Don't get kidnapped by a handsome Alpha while you're in there," Neil joked, already eyeing a group of Omegas nearby. Reon didn't respond. He pushed off the wall and navigated the crowd, his movements fluid and detached. He felt the hungry gazes of several Alphas as he passed, their scents spiking with sudden interest, but he didn't give them a glance. He was a cold streak of winter in a room full of summer heat. The bathroom was a stark contrast to the main floor. The music became a distant hum, replaced by the rhythmic drip of a leaky faucet and the hum of flickering fluorescent lights. The walls were white marble, cold and sterile. Reon stepped toward the sink, splashing cool water on his face. He looked at himself in the mirror—pale skin, sharp eyes, and an expression that suggested he found the entire concept of existence slightly tedious. The heavy door creaked open. A man stepped in, the scent of rotting cedar and stale sweat hitting Reon before the man even spoke. He was large, with a thick neck and a jawline that looked like it had been carved from a block of granite. His eyes were bloodshot, scanning Reon with a predatory hunger that made the Omega’s skin crawl. "Well, look at this," The Alpha rasped, his voice sounding like gravel grinding together. "A little lily hiding in the washroom." Reon didn't turn around. He patted his face dry with a paper towel. "The stalls are that way." The Alpha chuckled, a wet, guttural sound. He stepped closer, invading Reon's personal space. The smell of cedar became oppressive, an Alpha's attempt to dominate through sheer scent volume. "I don't want a stall. I want you. You've got a scent that smells like a fresh grave in springtime. I like that." Reon turned slowly, his expression flat. "I'm not interested." The Alpha reached out, his hand gripping Reon’s chin with bruising force. "Listen, sweetheart. I can tell you're a high-grade Omega. You're too pretty to be wandering around without a collar. Tell you what, I've got a lot of credits. How about I just buy you for the night? A few thousand, and you spend the evening making me forget how much I hate this city." Reon’s eyes didn't flicker. He didn't tremble. He simply looked at the hand on his face as if it were a piece of unsightly garbage. "Your breath smells like a dumpster," Reon said calmly. The Alpha’s expression shifted from lust to rage in a heartbeat. "You little brat. Do you have any idea who—" Before the Alpha could finish the sentence, Reon’s hand blurred. He didn't scream; he didn't panic. He pivoted his hips, channeling the weight of his body into a sharp, precise right hook. His knuckles connected with the Alpha's jaw with a sickening crack. The man’s head snapped to the side, his grip loosening as he stumbled back, crashing into a row of sinks. The sound of porcelain rattling echoed through the room. For a second, there was silence. The Alpha groaned, spitting a glob of blood onto the white marble. His eyes turned a dark, feral red. "You f*****g b***h," He roared. He lunged. The Alpha was far stronger, his bulk slamming Reon against the wall with a force that knocked the wind out of his lungs. Reon gasped, his back hitting the marble hard. The Alpha’s hands clamped around his wrists, pinning them above his head. The scent of cedar turned violent, acidic, trying to force Reon into submission. "I'm going to break every bone in your pretty little body," The Alpha hissed, his face inches from Reon's. "I'll make you beg for the money I was going to pay you." The Alpha shifted his weight, pressing his thigh between Reon's legs, attempting to rip at the fabric of Reon's trousers. Reon struggled, kicking out, but the Alpha's weight was an anchor. "That's enough." The voice was smooth, like dark chocolate melted over velvet, but it carried an edge of absolute authority that sliced through the tension of the room. Both men froze. Standing in the doorway was a man who seemed to swallow the light of the room. He was tall, dressed in a charcoal suit that cost more than the jackass Alpha's entire life. His hair was a deep, midnight black, swept back from a forehead that spoke of intelligence and arrogance. But it was his scent that dominated everything—a heady, intoxicating blend of rich black coffee, musk, and the exotic, spicy sweetness of black orchids. It was the scent of a predator who didn't need to roar to be feared. "Get off him," The newcomer commanded. The jackass Alpha sneered, though he didn't let go. "Mind your own business, man. This little thing needs to learn some manners." The man in the suit stepped forward. He didn't rush; he glided. "I own the bar. I own the building. And currently, I own the air you're breathing. If you don't remove your hands from that Omega in the next three seconds, I will ensure you never walk into any business in this city again. Not even a vending machine." The jackass Alpha looked at the man's eyes—cold, calculating, and utterly devoid of mercy. He recognized the face. Erion Wells. The CEO of Wells Enterprise. A man known as much for his ruthless business acquisitions as he was for his rotating door of lovers. The Alpha grunted, releasing Reon with a final, aggressive shove. He glared at Reon one last time before scurrying past Erion, his tail effectively between his legs. Reon slid down the wall, landing on his haunches. He took a deep breath, the scent of mint and lilies returning as the oppressive cedar faded. He didn't look grateful. He looked annoyed. Erion stood over him, one hand in his pocket, the other adjusting a cufflinks. He looked down at Reon, his gaze sweeping over the Omega's disheveled clothes and the fierce, defiant spark in his eyes. "A right hook," Erion mused, a small, amused smile playing on his lips. "Most Omegas would have fainted or screamed. You tried to break his jaw." Reon stood up, dusting off his pants. "He was in my way." "He was trying to buy you," Erion corrected. "And you responded with violence. I find that … refreshing." Reon looked at Erion, his expression returning to that cold, detached mask. "Thank you for the intervention. I'll find my friend now." As Reon turned to leave, Erion’s hand shot out, not gripping, but blocking the path, his palm resting against the wall. The scent of black orchid flared, warm and inviting, wrapping around Reon like a silk shroud. "Now, hold on," Erion said, his voice dropping an octave. "I don't do things for free, little lily. I've just saved you from a very unpleasant evening. It seems only fair that there be a payment for my services." Reon paused, looking at the hand on the wall, then up at Erion's dark, shimmering eyes. He knew the type. The playboy CEO. The man who treated the world as his personal catalog. He knew exactly what kind of payment an Alpha like Erion Wells wanted. "You want to sleep with me," Reon stated. It wasn't a question. Erion’s smile widened, revealing a hint of white teeth. "Direct. I like that. Yes. I want to see if the rest of you is as fierce as your punch." Reon stared at him for a long moment. He should have said no. He should have walked away and found Neil. But there was something about Erion—a gravitational pull, a challenge. Reon was bored with everything in his life, and this man smelled like a storm he wanted to walk into. "Fine," Reon said, his voice steady. "But don't expect me to be sweet." Erion chuckled, a low vibration that Reon felt in his own chest. "Sweet is boring. I prefer a bit of a fight." They left the bar together, the transition from the pulsing lights to the cool Italian night air sharp and sudden. Erion called for his car, the black car sliding to a halt beside them. Inside the car, the silence was thick, charged with an electric tension. Reon leaned back against the leather seat, watching the city lights blur past the window. Erion didn't touch him, but his scent filled the small space, the coffee and musk swirling around Reon, coaxing the mint and lilies to bloom. "Where do you live?" Erion asked, his voice a low murmur. "That's not part of the deal," Reon replied without looking at him. "The deal is that you pay me," Erion countered. "Which means we go to my place. My bed is far more comfortable than a car seat."
