Another Chance (Betrayal ?)

Chapter 1 Katelyn woke up to the chirping sound of the bird singing by her window side she lazily dragged her body towards her window to feel the early morning breeze on her face good morning! she said to mother nature with a smile on her face she headed towards her bathroom door but was stopped half way by a knock on her door "Mom"!! she growled pulling the door open "good morning sunshine"! her mom Mrs Bethly greeted with a smile "Good morning mom". Katelyn said moving out of the way for her mom to walk into the room "You are such a lazy bone to still be on bed by now". Mrs Bethly teased making Katelyn to chuckle "So tell me where are you going this morning you look all great and beautiful"! Katelyn praised her mom while walking into her bathroom "I have a meeting with the board directors at the office today" Mrs Bethly replied smiling "Mom I told you to minimize the way you work, it's getting to much" Katelyn said sounding disappointed with her toothbrush in her mouth "You don't need to worry about me darling, I'm perfectly fine and I love my job". Mrs Bethly asked smiling broadly "Dad didn't leave the company under your care so you would stress to death mom, I mean you gotta take it on yourself at least consider your health for me" Katelyn said walking out of the bathroom "I'm doing it for my happiness darling so you don't need to worry much about me cause you've got a strong mom". Bethly praised herself with a smile on her face "Still pray you find someone to love then I'm sure you would understand how worried I am about your health". Katelyn said with a sigh and a dim expression on her face "Erh... ugh ...! I should get going, you take care of yourself and Margaret made breakfast". She said hurriedly walking out of Katelyn's room. ********** Katelyn walked out of the house into her new Tesla car and drove off to the spa but was surprised to find it empty when she walked inside. "Hey Ms Devon"! Katelyn greeted giving her a side hug "How are you doing Katelyn"? Ms Devon asked "Good as always". Katelyn replied with a smile "Came for a spa"? Ms Devon asked "Yeah but why is everywhere so empty and why are your staffs working tirelessly like you're throwing a party or something"? Katelyn asked looking around "I'm sorry Ms Scott but the spa is having an important person to take care of today, so we won't be attending to any other customers cause we've been booked for a special service" Ms Devon said "I can't possibly get my spa done somewhere else and I need to get it done today, I've got an interview a day after tomorrow miss Devon and today is the only day I've got please, can you help me, it's really important to me right now"?! Katelyn pleaded "I'm sorry Katelyn wish I could help you out but Sir Lee will be arriving any moment from now and I can't possibly ask him to wait while I get yours done"! Ms Devon said with her shoulder dropping Katelyn wanted to say something when a young handsome breath taking guy who probably would be in his early thirties walked into the spa with some group of guys dressed in a solid black suit who she guessed to be his bodyguards welcome "Sir Lee, you arrived earlier than expected" Ms Devon said walking closer to him "Didn't I ask for all customers to be excluded from the spa today"? Lee Stuart asked "I'm sorry Sir but this is Katelyn my friend who came for a spa but I intend asking her to leave since she wasn't aware of the notice before hand". Ms Devon apologized and turned to leave "Let her stay, not being aware of the notice and coming all the way here for a spa must have been very important to her so let her stay, I will share the staffs with her and her bill is on me". Lee said and walked into the inner room, while miss Devon walked back to Katelyn and told her about the development leaving Katelyn speechless. Katelyn got her spa done and left for the mall where she got a few things and left for home, while watching some TV show in the evening she got a call from her best friend Carissa Kayle "Hey"!! Carissa said from the other end "Hi"!! Katelyn said "I feel so bored being at home, how about some clubbing tonight"? Carissa asked "Silly girl ain't coming bye"! Katelyn said giggling "C'mon Katelyn we won't stay out too long please". Carissa pleaded "Alright! alright! alright! but the bill is gonna be on you b***h". Katelyn said laughing "Sure"! Carissa replied with happiness and hung up the call "Thank goodness I went shopping today". Katelyn muttered to herself and rushed to her room to get started. 7pm she hit the road to Carissa's house on arriving she met Carissa by her door way "C'mon b***h let's go"! Katelyn said beaming with smile while Carissa playfully walked into her car and they drove off to "Celebrities Choice Club" which took about thirty minutes ride to arrive. At the far end of the club in the VIP section sat a man dressed in a luxury black vintage shirt and a pair of black plain trouser sat fiddling with his phone not minding the people around him, on raising his head to sip from his whiskey wine something caught his attention and he smiled inwardly Stuart Lee's p.o.v sitting at the far end of the club in the VIP section with my friends who were busy partying while I sat silently fiddled with my phone not paying attention to the people around me, I raised my glass of whiskey wine to my lips for a sip but stopped half way on spotting two beauties who drank and danced all by themselves without paying attention to anyone around them, I chuckled silently but one of them caught my attention that I couldn't seem to take my eyes off her for a while, don't know why but I found her amusing "Want me to get her over here for you man"? I heard a voice which definitely was Andy's one of my friends I came to the club with "What nonsense are you spouting? she's not even my type" I said releasing a slight chuckle "Don't scare Stuart with women talks Andy else you aren't gonna have fun in the club tonight"! Victor the other of my friends said and they both laughed mockingly. Victor, Andy and I grew up together and did things together, we schooled together and did most of our things together with no issues or misunderstandings, we're more like brothers now than friends but while Andy is notorious and reckless with women Victor was calm and in a relationship with a girl named Joan but I was completely different and quite opposite from them both, I've got no one to love as a lady, "haha strange right"?!
