Ch. 2 Meet me there

The next day, Jackson called Amanda.
"Meet me at the court house at 8 am and don't be late." He said, then paused and waited for her to beg him to change his mind.
"Then you might want to check your time and hurry up Jacky cause I'm already here waiting." She said impatiently. before he said another word, she had already hung up, and there was a knock at his bedroom door.
He got up and opened it.
SMACK!!!
Before he could even register what happened, he looked at his mother, who looked like she had been crying.
"You wreched son, how could you!" She cried, but instead of looking at the papers she had thrown at his feet, he walked by her to head out. "If you walk out that door and go through with this, your grandfather, grandmother, father, and I will never see you again."
He froze, what in the hell kind of spell did his ex-wife have on them. She is truly an evil woman. Thinking that once everything was said and done, they would return, he still walked out and, within minutes, arrived at the court house.
the procedures didn't take long, and before either of them knew it, it was all done, and they both walked out of the courthouse as single people.
"Oh, don't forget about the Ling family's annual banquet tonight." Amanda said, then got into a very nice limited addition, Roles Royce, and left.
Later at the mall Amanda was shopping for a dress and she was in her favorite designer shop where her other best friend was the owner and head designer Camilla worked. As soon as she walked in, she was wrapped up in a huge bear hug.
"Mandy, you have no idea how happy I was when your mom called and said that they found you." Camilla said with tears in her eyes.
"I know, and I am sure you heard about Jess?" asked Amanda, hugging her besty back.
"Yes, I did, and she also told me about your ex-husband and....." she said, trailing off. she could tell by the tears in her eyes that the pain was still fresh, so she changed the subject. "Come, I have something to show you."
She grabbed her hand and led her to a set of stairs, and we went up to her work studio. once she opened the door she saw a dozen dresses but the one that caught her eye was a blue fit and flare dress. Amanda recognized it as if it was her design.
"You made the dress I designed." She said as tears fell down her face.
"Yes, I did as well as the rest are your designs as well." She said with tears in her eyes as well. "Last year, I had an idea that if I made some of the dresses you designed, you would somehow see them and return to us."
just as she was about to cry her eyes out, they suddenly heard a commotion coming from downstairs. so they rushed down to see what was going on, and much to her dismay, it was Danica and Sarah.
"What are you two doing here?" Camilla asked indifferently.
"We were hoping to get a few dresses from the new collection." Sarah said sweetly.
"I'm sorry to disappoint you but as I told you last week when you asked I just made them I did not design them and I will not let anybody besides the designer wear them until after they are released." She stated coldly.
"and that would be me." Amanda said, startling them.
"How in the hell did you get in here?" Sarah asked angrily upon seeing her. how in the hell was she alive still. she was supposed to die from her heart cancer speeding up from the poison she slipped her.
"I thought it was obvious cousin, I am here to see my best friend." she replied nonchalantly.
"Shut up. You have no right to act all high and mighty, considering you're spreading your legs for money." Danica sneered.
"Danny dear do me a favor and shut you f*****g mouth and open your f*****g ears and pull your head out of Sarah's ass." Amanda growled angrily glaring her. "and if afterward you still can't see the truth standing right in front of you, then you need to get some help."
she was shocked that Amanda would dare talk to her like this, but the more she stared at her, the more she realized that her best friend had been in front of her all along.
without saying another word, she grabbed Sarah and left. after dropping a very angry Sarah off at her house, she went home and straight to her parents.
they had been sitting in the living room when she walked in.
"Mom, dad, I'm so sorry." She said as she began to cry.
while she was telling them what happened at the mall her phone rang. it was Amanda.
Amanda: If Jackson isn't home, I will be bye in a few minutes to explain everything.....oh, and I will have my brothers with me.
Danica: he isn't he will be at the office probably all night. Mandy, I am so so so sorry about everything.
Angelica:.....I can forgive you, but I'm sorry I can't forgive your brother, and I will not let Sarah off.
then there was a knock at the door, and Danica got up and opened it. It was Amanda, and Danica couldn't help but fall apart.
"I'm so sorry I am so stupid!" She wailed and cried as she hugged her.
"It's alright, Danny, but come I will tell you everything from what I know now and remember." Amanda stated sort of smiling at her friends antics. they made their way to the living room.
There, she began to explain everything from her kidnapping to her marriage, and finally to the death of her child and her sister giving up her life and heart to save her.
before anything else, Lady Long shouted.
"That wreched creature!!!" She shouted in anger.
