“Lie still, Miss.” A lady wearing a scrub instructed calmly.
“Who are you?” Aurora asked as she placed her palm on her forehead, trying to recall what happened last night.
“I am Lydia. The nurse in charge of your case,” Lydia introduced.
“How do you feel?” Lydia asked almost immediately.
“I feel pains all over my body.” Aurora cried.
“So sorry about that, we are already giving you treatment for that. Sooner you will feel better,” Lydia said gently.
“Excuse me,” Lydia asked as she exited the room.
“Good morning, Aurora.” Oscar greeted as he walked into the room.
Aurora remained mute, avoiding his gaze.
“You shouldn't have challenged me; you shouldn't object to whatever I say. You're my property, Aurora; I own you and you owe me your little life.” Oscar said sternly.
“Get well soon, your husband wouldn't like to meet you this way tomorrow. Your friend is here too, you dare not disclose what happened last night.” Oscar concluded with a scowl as he walked out of the room.
Eleanor rushed in almost immediately, her gaze fixed on Aurora.
“Hey girl, what happened?” Eleanor asked as she leaned closer, examining Aurora’s body.
“Call the nurse please, my head burns,” Aurora mumbled.
“I cannot hear you,” Eleanor said worriedly.
“Call the……” Aurora tried to finish her statement before she went into unconsciousness.
Eleanor dashed out of the room and returned shortly with Lydia.
“Your friend is not going to die, she's tired and emotionally tortured. She needs some rest.” Lydia explained after examining Aurora.
“But Ma’am what's wrong with her?” Eleanor asked anxiously.
“She was physically abused but her emotional state is not encouraging, that is the reason she is weaker, she needs to be happy and eat healthily. No one should stress her psychologically,” Lydia advised, looking at Aurora who was sleeping.
“Thank you so much, nurse.” Eleanor thanked her as she leaned closer to Aurora. She could see the lines of tears all over her face. Aurora had cried so much that she turned reddish. Her eye socket is dark and pale.
Eleanor cried. She couldn't imagine what Aurora had been through all these years. She brought a bowl filled with water and a towel and gently wiped her friend’s face as she sobbed.
“How about she flees tonight?” Eleanor thought.
“Yes. She will leave Bloodstone pack tonight.” She soliloquized.

“My wife is coming to the Castle tomorrow. Prepare a place for her.” King Orion instructed the old lady who stood before him.
“I will do as you say, my king.” The old lady responded as she bowed and left the King’s chamber.
It was approaching dawn and the king wondered what could have happened to the girl he met at the pool the other day. He remembers his appointment with her and sets out to the pool.
King Orion stood up, went to his room, and changed into a casual outfit.
“My King, where are you going?” Sylvia the King’s concubine queried.
“I need to attend to something, Sylvia.” The King responded nonchalantly as he attempted to continue his journey.
“There is a problem my King, the warriors of Crystal pack sent a warning letter to us to release their people or fight them,” Sylvia informed the King.
“Should I inform the warriors and ask them to attack Crystal Pack?” Sylvia further asked.
“Don't worry about them, I will handle them myself.” The King replied as he walked out on Sylvia.
“Fool!” Sylvia mumbled with a smirk when she was sure the King was out of sight.
Slowly, her plans of getting the werewolves to kill themselves are becoming a reality. The King she knows doesn't entertain challenges and she's certain he went out for a m******e.
The King hurried off to the pool where he met Aurora for the first time, but he didn't see her. For some reason he was worried.
He went into the woods where he had seen her the night before. There was no trace of her. He headed back to the castle in a rage.
“Father, can you tell me a bedtime story?” Annabelle said as she walked into the King’s room with a lantern.
“Annabelle, I have warned you never to come into my room with a lantern.” The King said harshly as he led her out of his room.
“But father, your room is always dark with no trace of light. How do I see if I don't have a lantern?” Annabelle explained.
“Then don't come into my room.” The King simply replied.
“Father, it's been a long time since you told me a story, please tell me one tonight.” Annabelle pleaded, rolling her eyes.
The king didn't want to object. He knew Annabelle’s skill at convincing people, particularly him.
“Once upon a time,” King Orion began.
There lived a King whom everyone feared. He was revered amongst all other kings. Nobody dares him and nobody likes him. The King is cursed to transform into a beast whenever he starts to feel the mating bond, a curse that can only be broken if he can have ….
“Father, what is a mating bond?” Annabelle queried.
“A mating bond is a strong feeling that attracts you to your soulmate. We all have a soul mate chosen for us by the Moon Goddess.” The King explained.
“But father, why am I not feeling any now?” Annabelle asked innocently.
“Because you have not come of age, my dear. Every werewolf experiences it at the right time, which is on their eighteenth birthday. You're just five my princess.” The King answered as he ran his hands through her hair.
“Okay. Father, was Mother your soul mate?” Annabelle asked again.
The King was flabbergasted. His little princess was asking too many questions but he needed to satisfy her curiosity.
“My mate rejected me.” The King said as his eyes blazed up. He bade his princess adios and stepped out of the room.
The king and his guards silently walked to the garden. The King had been reminded of his long-lost love, the one who rejected him.
“What are you doing here?” The King interrupted, and Oscar and Sylvia trembled. To Oscar, this was his last day of existence as he stood paralyzed.
