Episode 2

Ena turned to the prince and asked, “Hey, Prince, is your name Alex?”

The prince smiled and nodded, “Yes, my mother named me that. You can call me Alex, okay?”

Ena nodded, “Okay, Alex.”

Afterwards, Alex went to his room and told his faithful soldier, “Oliver, tell the maids to prepare a good meal and send it to Ena’s room.”

Oliver responded, “I’ll do that now, Prince.”

He quickly went to the maids, giving them the order to prepare the food and send it to Ena’s room. Then, he went to Ena’s room and said, “Please wait. The food is being prepared.”

Ena smiled, “Okay, I will wait.”

Oliver introduced himself, “My name is Oliver. It’s nice to meet you. If you have any problems, feel free to tell me without hesitation.”

Ena reassured him, “No, I’m okay.”

Soon, the maids arrived with the food. Oliver said, “I’m leaving now. Enjoy your meal.”

Ena was overjoyed when she saw the abundance of food. It was the first time she had seen so much food in her life. As she ate, she couldn’t help but smile and shed a few tears. The maid noticed and asked, “Ma’am, do you have any problem? What’s going on?”

Ena wiped her tears and said, “No, it’s just tears of joy.”

The maid picked up the dishes and handed her some clothes, saying, “These are for you. Take a bath and wear what you like.”

Ena smiled, “Thank you so much.”

The maid replied, “The prince prepared this for you. Be sure to thank him.”

Ena, now feeling incredibly happy, changed into the luxurious clothes. She had never worn such fine clothes before. After taking a bath, she dried her hair and went to bed. However, she couldn’t sleep. She tossed and turned, thinking about everything that had happened.

Eventually, she got up and walked to the balcony of her room. She looked out and saw the moon shining brightly in the clear sky. Below, there was a huge garden with a waterfall. Ena thought to herself, I really want to dance alone in that garden, just once.

She paused, realizing that it was the middle of the night. Who will see me at this time? she wondered. She peeked outside and noticed that the palace was quiet, with only candlelight flickering in the windows and the guards fast asleep.

Ena quietly made her way down to the garden. As she entered, she inhaled the sweet fragrance of the flowers and searched for the perfect spot to dance. Just then, Oliver said to Alex, “She is beautiful.”

Alex nodded, “Yes, she is. I knew she wasn’t Deni. Her eyes are precious, and I think she might be worried that someone will harm her. I’ll have to go to her and reassure her that she has nothing to fear.”

Alex hurried to Ena’s room, but when he reached the garden, he saw her. He stopped, wondering what she was doing there. Oliver followed closely behind. Before Oliver could ask anything, Alex motioned for him to stay quiet and said, “Look.”

Ena had taken the edge of her frock, closed her eyes, and stood on her toes, her body light and graceful. Alex and Oliver were mesmerized by the beauty of her dance.

As Ena danced, she felt free and happy, her heart singing with joy. She silently thanked the gods for giving her this moment of peace.

When she finished her dance, Ena was tired. She sat on a bench and looked around for a water pot to drink from. She drank deeply, feeling refreshed. The moonlight bathed her in a soft glow, making her look even more beautiful.

At that moment, a girl approached Ena. “Hey, how beautiful you are,” she said.

Alex and Oliver saw the girl and were confused. Why is she here? they wondered. The girl, who was 17, was Alexa, Oliver’s little sister.

Alexa smiled at Ena and said, “My name is Alexa. My brother told me about you, so I came to meet you. You couldn’t sleep, right? It’s 2 AM.”

Ena nodded, “I couldn’t sleep, so I came here.”

Alexa suggested, “Oh! Since you couldn’t sleep, why don’t you sleep in my room? I’ll keep you company.”

Ena agreed, and they went to Alexa’s room.

Back at the palace, Alex asked Oliver, “What’s Ena doing in the garden?”

Oliver replied, “I think she’s just talking to Alexa. She feels comfortable with her.”

Alex seemed to accept this and said, “If she feels comfortable, then that’s fine. We’ll get some rest. Goodnight.”

Both Alex and Oliver returned to their rooms to sleep.

In Alexa’s room, Ena marveled at how beautiful it was. “Wow, it’s beautiful,” she said.

Alexa smiled and said, “It’s already 2:30 AM. You should lay down and sleep.”

Both of them lay down on the bed and soon fell asleep.

The next morning, Ena stretched and said, “What a beautiful morning.”

Alexa smiled and said, “Let’s go take a bath.”

After their bath, they returned to the room, where Alex and Oliver were waiting. Alex looked at Ena and said, “Come to my bedroom. I need to ask you some questions.”
