Tracy's POV
“Maria!” I rushed over to her side in panic, dropping to my knees just beside her, and all I could remember was Gamma Giovanni's words Please look after Maria he had said like he knew something was going to happen to her.
“Give her space, all of you!” Cassandra ordered, as some of the other girls rushed to Maria's side.
They all did as she said, apart from me who stayed by her side.
Cassandra crouched down beside her, tilted her head slightly as she checked her pulse.
“The Pack’s hospital is close by,” she said. “I mindlinked the doctor already, help is on the way.”
“Thank you,” I croaked out, and Cassandra just smiled and gave my hand a gentle squeeze.
Just like Cassandra had said, help came in no time and Maria was rushed to the hospital.
