New way of parking 2.14

Sorrel arrived at the formerly dilapidated warehouses and smirked. William stood at the front entrance and stared at the building with the others piled up behind him. It might have been the explosion of plants covering the buildings or the fact that the climbing ivy held a banner up across the front saying, ‘congratulations Bloodied Petal may you grow richly’. Sephy poked her head out from beneath Sorrel’s hair which he had left loose today letting the strands carefully relax. *Your Kin are very nice* Sephy commented as she looked over the plants. *Or maybe enthusiastic is more appropriate* Sorrel chuckled in response. He couldn’t argue the point he could sense that a great many of his kin had uprooted and moved. A very big matter for them though for the most part they were of the younger generation nor more than 500 years old. Still, it was apparently intimidating to the other members of Sorrel’s newly formed club as they hadn’t even managed to put their rides away in the second building. Sorrel admired the mix of sports and road bikes with a tiny bit of envy. He hadn’t had the chance to start learning how to ride yet and so was still relegated to being driven around or walking. So, he was a little bit amused at their expense that they were stopped from putting the bikes away just because they struggled to determine a way past the clematis draped over the warehouse door. “Admiring the view?” Sorrel murmured as he crept up behind the group. Not disappointing him the group started and spun around. Peter in particular almost knocked his bike over, he only managed to grab it just before it hit the ground before slowly standing it back up. “Um, well it looks nice but, Ah, is it structurally sound?” Foster asked hesitantly as he looked between the vine covered warehouses and Sorrel. “Sure. They won’t let the building fall down. Besides I believe the main structure has been reinforced.” Sorrel responded. His head tilted to one side as Sorrel looked thoughtfully over the buildings. “It seems Cleo is in charge, so I’ll just introduce you.” Sorrel walked past the group and headed towards the thickest cluster of the clematis. He waved at the Ivy on the other building as it waved its leaves back at him. When he reached the edge of the second warehouse Sorrel reached out and grasped one of the tendrils near a large flower. “I expected you to come Cleo.” Sorrel said with a gentle tug. Cleo had been a curious sort and had liked to extend over the park walls to look out over the passing people, so it was not surprising that she had jumped at this chance for a change of location. *I won the right to lead so I conceded the main building to Ivan lest he sulk. Are they your friends? Can I keep the little one? He’s so cute. * Sorrel shook his head and then continued, “These are my friends, I’ll introduce you. William is to be the second and is a witch. Simon is a Sorcerer he’s been proved to be very good at wards. Peter and Paul are Pixies, they had plant familiars and so should have an easier time understanding you guys. Grahame is a gremlin and will likely spend the most time here since he likes to tinker with mechanical stuff, and I believe that has been stored here.” While Sorrel was making the introductions, Cleo waved a flower at each person indicated. However, when Sorrel gestured at Grahame Cleo separated an entire vine out and stretched over to hand Grahame one of her flowers. Grahame accepted the flower and proceeded to stare at it blankly as Sorrel continued the introductions. “Noel, Vale and Victoria are vampires; they have the strongest immunity to us and are very fast. Finally Fable and Forster are Foxskins, they will probably feel the most comfortable the fastest since their beasts originally coexisted with us.” Sorrel finished at last and waved a hand at the door. Immediately the vine shifted aside, and the roller door activated rolling up towards the roof. “Wait? I didn’t see you use the door remote?” Paul wondered as he looked at the disappearing door. “Cousin opened it from the inside. They will do that for you now when you approach. It will be much easier.” Sorrel explained over his shoulder as he walked inside. A large tree that glowed a clear sky blue stood in the centre of the warehouse with the rest of the space left open save for small flowering plants under each of the windows. More of the clematis covered the inside walls so that it was hard to tell that they were inside a building at all. “What the?” Simon exclaimed as he came in. The sorcerer absently set his bike aside near the wall and was so distracted that he didn’t notice the purple wei rose as it extended its branches and picked the bike up from its place near the door before it moved it over into a free sport between it and the ink orchid next to it. Vale and Noel on the other wad watched the entire process in stunned shock their eyes widened further with each motion before they shook their heads and gingerly moved to put their own bikes in place. Victoria on the other hand was very relaxed, she smiled handsomely at the flame-coloured chrysanthemum on the other side which waved shyly at her before it extended its branches and carefully pulled the bike into place. “Thanks for looking after it. I’m sure there won’t be parking more secure anywhere else.” Victoria spoke as she reached out to run a finder along the petals of the flower which promptly folded up before it slowly reopened and proceeded to twist in front of her.
