The Graduation Day

Third person POV

Emma, a beautiful, sensitive and innocent girl. All she wanted was to make her granny all right and healthy. Money can never give her happiness. In her life she never hated anyone her heart was so soft that anyone could easily use it. Too innocent to believe anyone even fall in a trap of Demon. Life was so beautiful for her and she feels that everyone in this world should be happy because life is short if you don’t enjoy whatever you have in life then you will never be able to value it.

Emma lives with her grandmother who told her that when she was born her mother died immediately after. She had a serious disease and because of that her body became very weak to be pregnant. The doctor said that she should not be pregnant and suggested that she should abort the baby. But her mother loved the unborn baby so much to do that, so she made the doctor promise not tell her husband which is Emma’s father. No one knew about her weakness she hid it very well. Emma’s father loved her mother so much that he couldn’t bare her sudden death and died immediately after. Emma’s grandmother was the only one who brought her up she is her everything. “ My Dear! get up you are going to be late for school”. Grandma said making breakfast in the kitchen. Emma woke up immediately upon hearing the small of the food from the kitchen. “ I am getting ready grandma, and I am hungry too”. Emma said to make her granny realize that she needs food as soon as she comes downstairs. Grandma laugh happily hearing Emma’s complaining childishly.

“ Haha! You are always hungry, now brush your teeth and wash your stinking mouth quickly and come for breakfast”. “ am on my way just give me a minute”. Emma entered the bathroom to shower grandma was smiling this girl is never going to change. When she dies who will take care of her precious Emma. When will she learn to take care of herself? She is still a child. If she doesn’t take care of herself who will do it?. Grandma was so worried about her grandchild. Grandma prays to God to give her child someone who will always love her, respect her, and then marry her and treat her well whiles she’s gone. Grandma signed deeply after praying. Because this girl doesn’t even love anyone let alone marry a man. She doesn’t even date. This thing has always made her frustrated, when will she learn to let a man into her life. My precious Emma she is a very brave always fighting back against who is wrong. A sweet nature girl who always help people. Even if they don’t even consider her friendship she ignores their hatred and loved them back. She just graduated. She is the top scholarship student in her school. It made her very proud of Emma. Such a good girl, who never demands to have anything expensive or luxurious. She is always happy with simple clothes. Today is Emma’s graduation ceremony but her grandma couldn’t buy her an expensive dress for the graduating party but Emma wasn’t one but worried about it. All the students in her school are very rich and their families were from rich and prestigious backgrounds. Only she was from a poor home among them. Grandma wanted Emma to be happy too. But Emma was not like the spoiled kids in her school she is always happy with the little she has. She never complain about anything she is an obedient child. “ My child you have suffered so much one day you will find someone who will love you immensely too”. Grandma said and wiped her tears.

Meanwhile Emma is getting ready for her graduation ceremony. She is very excited about the whole thing. Finally she is going to graduate and find herself a good job to support her granny. She wore the white sparkling dress grandma bought for her. Although it was not that expensive but Emma loved and appreciated it very much. After doing her makeup not too much but a little, she loves it natural. She twirls around to see herself looking beautiful in the dress in front of the mirror. “ Grandma, how do I look?”. Emma comes to the kitchen running not too hard to fall down. Grandma smiled at her when she saw that Emma was wearing the dress she bought for her. “ My dear you look so beautiful like a princess waiting for her Prince Charming”. Grandma complemented her. Emma started to jump in happiness and hugged granny tightly and granny too hugged her back patting her back. “Really! I knew it would look beautiful on me, I love this dress. It’s so beautiful and lovely. Thank you so much grandma”. Grandma sat her down and brought the food in front of her. Emma didn’t want granny to work so she stood up and sat granny down “ it’s okay grandma let me take it from here let me serve the breakfast you sit down”. “ No my child let me do it”. Emma forced granny to sit down and granny finally settled and served the breakfast. She brought the food in front of granny and served her then she sat beside her and served her own bowl too. They both had breakfast together while Emma kept talking about her friends and the future plans with granny. “ My dear hurry up or else you will be late”. “ ohh yeah sure I gotta go I don’t want to be late”. Emma said hastily trying to finish up the delicious breakfast granny cooked. “ Grandma make to always prepare this kind of breakfast everyday it’s seems special today it is very delicious”. Granny didn’t talk but rather laughed at her. After finishing breakfast Emma kissed granny lightly on her cheek and said goodbye to her before leaving.
