Chapter 54 – Luna is back
Indentations growing in Gemma’s chin, Baden watched as her lip and chin trembled. Upset, she was upset! Baden inwardly scolded himself, he was suppose to keep her calm, to let her rest. Every time he saw her, he felt like she was moving further and further away from him. Growing more agitated and upset, all he wanted to do was take her in his arms and hold her. Tell her that everything was going to be okay, but she did not even want him near her. His whole body reacted to her as if she were a drug. She had a sway over him like no other, if he continued like this he would end up taking her to the funeral himself, or missing it entirely to stay close to her.
