We all shifted, and the girls that couldn't rode on the backs of us that could. I could feel the tension radiating off Jordan. I knew he didn't agree with the choice I had made. I'm not gonna lie. i felt so much safer knowing him and Noah were coming with me. I would have done it regardless, but it was still comforting knowing that they were here for me.
We made it to the palace by the next nightfall. it wasn't what i was expecting. Dont get me wrong it was stunning. Well, it looked like it used to be. It looked like how i pictured a palace to look like. It just looked like it hadn't been taken care of for some time now.
