Unwanted mate

not what I expected

"Tina!" Eleanors annoyed voiced pulled me from my thoughts again, as I looked over I could see she was getting frustrated with me and must have called my name a few times trying to get my attention, her arms were crossed and her she was frowning at me . "dude , I have been standing here like a dummy trying to get your attention for like 5 minutes , can you actually pay attention" she snapped at me . I bit my lip and tried not to laugh at her frustration. "Sorry, I was just thinking," I replied . "yea, I know , thats the point , I have been trying to get information about this guy and all you have said was that you saw him with some cheerleaders and they were not awful to you" . I almost found myself lost in my own thoughts again . not sure how to explain what exactly had happend as I was not sure myself.

 "Hmmm , ok , i don't really know anything about him, I mean like I said i saw him before school when he almost ran me over in his jeep , and again at lunch it was super weird though I know he felt the same pull or I think he did anyways but like I said he did not look happy to have the feeling, I don't know" I said sounding glum I could feel that my eyes were tearing up. " Hmmm well , Ok, don't worry about Tina , I am sure we will figure this whole thing out I would say that it's probably a good thing that the cheerleaders were not awful to you right?" she asked raising her eyebrows I gave her a watery smile and decided the best thing to do was to change the subject and go back to the topic of her and my cousin "Soooo , back to your thing since that seems to have gone better then mine " I gave a smile , I really did not want worry about whatever was going on with a guy that I don't even know and really I should be used the nasty looks but with that feeling I could not just drop it . Eleanor instantly perked up and looked happy with the conversation turning back to her and Roger . " yea well , like I am sure that you guessed we ended up hanging out at lunch and talking " we had started walking further into the parking lot and I soon realized that I was not sure where exactly we were going ,obviously I had missed the bus and I really did not think that Emily was going to give us a ride, I kind of wondered if we were going to take Eleanor's car.

    "hey , are we going to your house or where did you want to hangout? did you want to go to the village to see if we can find anything to wear tonight or what are you thinking?" I asked , I really do not have anything that is not going to make me look less gross and really if this was the first time i was going to go to a school event i really don't want to look like i always do. i really have no idea of how to dress though. I looked down at myself and cringed , I am kind of thinking of asking if Amy would be interested in coming with us , she had always begged me to let her do a makeover on me but she had given up after me repeatedly turning her down and us growing apart. "ummm, where ever you were thinking , the village might be fun, they have a few nails places there and we can get some new outfits too," Eleanor seemed happy with the plan to go shopping , I mean really shopping is always fun and i needed to get my head off things as well . " I was kind of thinking of inviting Amy, she is obsessed with makeovers and i really as you can probably tell need all the help that I can get. plus she is pretty close to Roger so she should be able to give you more inside information on him" I added smiling, I was tugging at the edge of my shirt and was starting to become more and more uncomfortable . "yea, that sounds awesome actually , I have not had a chance to talk to her yet , and that would be great to get more information about Roger, also do you know if she found her mate yet?"  Eleanor asked she had started fidgeting with her hair and picking her nails , she looked like she was distracted by stuff more then likely she was thinking about Roger.  that was actually a really good question though , I really had no idea if my twin had found her mate, I kind of think that even though we are not that close anymore she would have told me that kind of information, or i would hope that she would have. " thats a good question, I have no idea but I guess we can ask her about that as well if she decides she wants to come with us " I pulled my phone out and sent a text to my sister .

    We kind of stood around in the parking lot waiting to see if Amy was going to answer. I think we were both surprised when my phone rang instead of getting a text . "Hello?" I answered  " Hey, so where were you guys thinking about going? and really you are planning on going to the game?" Amy asked I could tell that she was super curious as to why I would randomly invite her to go shopping and what the he** would have made me decide to go to a school game. " well Eleanor was talking to Roger...." I started , "wait, WHAT!!! Eleanor and Roger started talking without Roger being a jerk to her ? considering that everyone knows she is your friend thats interesting" I could tell that she found that information as super interesting, "Listen Amy , I really need help to get ready , I really don't want to look like crap for a change. Eleanor really wants to get to know Roger and I really do not want to be the reason that he does not want to talk to her" I was almost begging her to come.  Eleanor was looking at me trying to figure out what was going on . " Amy do you want to come with us or what?" I asked getting a little impatient with my twin. " yea sure why the hell not, we both know you need help to not look like a mess , and if Roger is seriously interested in your friend she is going to need my help too. I'll see you guys in five in front of the school" she disconnected the call before I had a chance to respond. I looked up at Eleanor and grinned. "she said she's going to come"  .
