Your father got a special offer at work from New England. We don't have to discuss this any more," she said. I stayed quiet for a few seconds. My mothers expression softened, "I know you're going to miss everyone, I will too sweety," she said. I just sat at the stool watching my mom flip through the magazine while she drank her coffee. I know we're going to miss everybody, but I really hated new beginnings.  "Dad just had to get an offer, didn't he," I said sarcastically.  My mother didn't respond. She was clearly ignoring me. "Time to go get pregnant," I said and looked at my mom's expression. "Jessie!" she warned. "Just kidding mom," I said. My alarm clock went off and groaned in annoyance. I slapped the alarm clock and it didn't have any mercy whatsoever. Today was the day that I left everyone behind. I guess you can say WTF moment. Well, I don't know why I worry so much. It's not like I'm going to be the big highlight of the school. It was just a small town, right? I didn't really talk to everyone at my school. Boys were slobs and the girls were stuck up bitches.  I ran downstairs and my mother smiled at me once I entered the kitchen. "You ready?" she said.  I gave out a shaky breath, "As I'll ever be" I sarcastically replied. "Jessie wear something more appropriate" my dad said, "I don't want the men looking at you in those shorts. Heather do you see this?"  My mom peered out of the kitchen and looked at my outfit. "Yes yes. Jessie change now," my mother opinioned. I'm so happy my dad will be gone from the house most of the time at Maine. He's even more annoying now. It's not like I know what his job is anyways. I was about to look around for some shorts when my mom said,"You might want to look for some pants. It's not as warm here in Maine."  I grabbed some light blue jeans and put them on. I followed my mom into the living room and watched the men picking up the boxed. "Lets watch your father and the men struggle" she giggled. "You're such a tease mom." I laughed. I knew I was about to ask an awkward question but I had to ask. "What kind of human being even likes the woods?" I blurted out. My mom's eyes shifted nervously, "Well. Some people just like being in the woods. They feel free," she said. I frowned. What's up with her? ******** My mom got a phone call and picked it up, slowly walking away from me. I stood there and tried to hear her conversation but it just died out as she walked away further. I waited until my mom got back. After a few minutes she spoke, "Jessie we have to go. Our flight leaves in the middle of the night so we have to be there soon." I slowly nodded and  we both turned to the parking lot for the car. I drifted into sleep being tired of the ride. Dark green eyes looked directly at me and I felt some sort of feelings I've never felt before.  "Jessie wake up" the voice repeated.  "Jessie...." then a growl.  ------------------------------------- © 2013 All Rights Reserved  Jessie's POV "Jessie wake up!" I heard my mom snap. I slowly opened one eye and was hit with a major headache.  Bright lights - what's going on? I groaned remembering about everything. I had fell asleep during the ride. I got up from the front seat and mentally cursed at my parents. This is it. I was really going to miss everyone honestly. But, at the same time I'm very happy for my father. Who would turn down such a big offer like that? I actually couldn't wait to move. I've just been so stubborn lately because all I ever actually thought about was having to be away from friends. I was sick of the house I lived in anyways. I wanted something different. It wouldn't be so bad. I sat down on one of the seats and my parents settled in too. After about 20 minutes, the pilot was on the speaker telling every passenger to buckle in enjoy the ride and blah blah blah. I put in my headphones and played some music. I closed my eyes and enjoyed the peaceful moment I would have. After Flight Home. We got in a car that was going to be another long ride. Or would it?  I just chilled in the back of the car looking out the window and at all the trees that passed by. My head was getting really dizzy but it was so hard to look away. The woods just seemed to attract  me, something I never liked. Or is it just because I haven't really seen the woods before? Probably. After about an hour, we pulled up to a very big house. Let me tell you, his house was way bigger than the older one. "Whoa, who's house is this?" I asked. My mom turned around and grinned showing her pearly whites. "Home sweet home!" she called out. What? "Wait, you're saying that this huge house is ours? Why and how? When?" My father turned around and gave me a reassuring smile. "Well Jess, my job offer told me we could own the house," He said. "How? Well let's just say they're rich. When? About a few weeks ago when I was told," He smiled. My mouth was open in shock. It was so big. Once the car stopped, I ran out of the car and in the house. I ran upstairs and looked at almost all the rooms. It took me awhile to find my room since there was more than just five bedrooms. I walked down the hall and opened the door to a room that was meant for me. "This is totally for me. I call it!" I yelled out. My parents chuckled and then I ran back downstairs. As I ran past my dad I heard him say, "I knew you would like it sweety." I smiled and walked into the huge kitchen before having to go through a set of doors. I left the kitchen and walked into the living room. It was so big. Everything was big and spacey. The living room had a fireplace and the room was the size of a school's gym. I was unpacking all of my clothes and already tucking them into the pre-ordered furniture. Furniture was ordered and placed in the house already! New furniture. Hold on. "Mom, Dad what happened to the other furniture?" I asked. My mothers faint reply was, "It's in a storage hun. Don't worry if you needed something just tell me. It will be here soon." I'm going to start going to River West Side High School tomorrow. I was so nervous but I still needed an outfit. I walked downstairs and headed towards my mom. "Mom we need to go shopping for my first day of school and more outfits" I said.  "Hun, I'm not taking you. You're taking yourself," she said. I was bewildered. As if the Gods answered my prayers, somebody knocked at the door. I looked at my mother and she pointed at me. I opened the door and a girl my age stood at the door smiling. "Hey.. My name is Marty," she said. I looked at her. She had long straight brown hair and was taller than me. She was model type tall. She was wearing black jeans and a white shirt with a blue cardigan and combat boots. This girl was gorgeous. I smiled back at her. "Uh, hey. My name is Jessie," I said. "I'm your neighbor. It's nice to meet you. I'm guessing you're going to the same school as me tomorrow," she said. She held out her hand and I shook it. "Where are my manners!" I said, "come in." She stepped inside and I closed the door behind her. "Wow, the inside of your house is way better than mine," she said.  "Thanks. I'm going to River West Side High School, are you too?" I asked her. She nodded while looking around. "Let's go to my room! I want to get to know you better," I said. She agreed and followed me up the stairs. We sat on my bed. "You're so cute! I'm pretty sure you're more attractive than the girls at our school," she said. I smiled,"Thanks! So are you, you're gorgeous," I said. "So tell me, where did you come from?" she asked. © 2013 All Rights Reserved  WILLIAM'S POV (The Alpha)  I walked slowly down the hall to go to my office. Being Alpha was the toughest job ever. I was probably the most stressed out 18 year old in the world. I took in a deep breath and ran my fingers through my hair.   I'm a smart strong powerful Alpha now. I'm pretty sure my dad's looking down on me and is proud of me.  When I walked in my office,  Michael had his foot on the leather couch looking up at the tv.  "Hey William I heard there's going to be a new girl at the school," he winked.  "What's her name?" I asked quickly becoming curious. "I don't even know her name but that girl Marty met her and she says she's gorgeous," he said. "You're so stupid Michael, how did you not ask Marty for the new girl's name?" I said. Michael frowned. "Sorry bro. Come here give your Alpha a big big hug" I teased. He didn't want to hug me but hey, it's the only way I could make him feel better. I slowly embraced him and he groaned. My mother walked in and yelped a little surprisingly, "I'll just leave you two alone!" she said.  She looked at Michael then I quickly pulling away to try to not make things awkward. "No, it's not what it looks like. I was just giving him a hug because I was being mean to him," I said. Michael nodded in agreement.  She dismissed the topic by sitting down on the black leather couch. "So, I think you've heard of the new girl, no?" she said. "I told him but I don't know her name," Michael commented.  "Yeah, I heard. She's a girl. That's new. And will be coming to River West Side High School, right? I don't know her name. She's just like every other new student that goes to the school. Is she human or wolf?" I said. "Well, Jessie Collins is not aware that she's a wolf. Mrs. And Mr.Collins haven't told her. But it's okay, some wolf parents have difficulty with that especially if they left the pack to give birth somewhere else away from wolves, like the Collins family did," she said.  "So she's a wolf? She was a natural born wolf of this pack but apparently she moved to Cali because her parents were afraid to tell her and didn't want her around wolves? I don't get it. The Grovesone Pack is in Cali too. Wouldn't she have felt their territory?" I asked. My mother nodded. "Yes, but she wasn't aware because they were farther away. Thank the Moon Goddess she didn't find out. The poor girl would've been lost. The Collins Family didn't want that. The girl that will be re-united in our pack is Jessie Collins. She's going to school tomorrow. Don't you or your boys get near her. Stay away William. You too Michael" she said.  Michael nodded. "Yes Mrs. Stone," he said.  I nodded sinking everything in. "Well, I'm going to go now. By the way, William you have a Defense Training group coming in later. You better be ready. I don't want you to be late like you always are! You're an Alpha for heavens sake. Show some respect. Don't you want to be known as a good one?" She spat.  I snickered, "Mom, we all know I'm the best," I said. She turned, "Not if you get your butt early." Then she walked out. Michael laughed at the way my mom just offended me, "The Alpha just got burned. Gotta put some ice on that buddy."  I narrowed my eyes at him and Michael's eyes widened and he ran away. Yeah, you better run. ----------------------------------- I locked the doors and went towards the house. Once I opened the doors, Miley a little beautiful four year old girl, ran up to me hugging my leg.  I chuckled and she giggled below me. "Hey Miley. What's up darling?" I looked down. "Hi Alpha!" she yelled out. More people came out from different rooms looking towards me. They heard Miley say Alpha.  "Miley, go find your mother honey," I smiled. She giggled once again and let go from my leg running off to where her mother was. "Oh there you are, Alpha William" said Trenton, the co-leader of the defense group. I nodded slowly. "Yes?" I asked. "They're back here" he said while walking back outside. I followed him to where he lead me to a huge field of wolves and people in their human forms. "Okay, I'll be right back," I said. I walked back into the pack house and down the stairs to the locker room where the boys changed. I changed my outfit then ran back outside.  When I walked outside, I ran my hands through my fingers and whistled to get everyone's attention.  Brianna looked at me, her eyes looked over my body and I looked up at her. She laughed a little and turned back to her partner. I switched into my black wolf's form while Trenton switched too.  ****  I headed down and once I opened the door, I was faced with Brianna. She closed the door shut and pushed me towards the door.  "Hey Alpha" she whispered in my ear before trailing kisses down my jaw. Sure, my wolf wanted to do her on the spot but I just couldn't do that. I held on her shoulders my height towering over her. "Brianna, not now. Go away." I looked at her in the eyes.  She laughed, my command not phasing her at all. She put her hand on my chest trailing down. I grabbed her wrists and pulled away, "I said not now!" using my alpha tone with her. She winced and nodded. "Well f**k you too," she murmured.  I growled. "I am your Alpha! You will respect me just like every member of the pack does! So if I tell you not now, then that means you take your skank ass out of my office!" I exclaimed. Her eyes widened and she wriggled out of my grip. I let her go and she quickly ran out of my office. That should teach her a lesson.
