A lot of people surrounded me and they all were different. Some were weak, some wicked, some silent, some talkative. But you can surely claim that each of them was dangerous. Maybe, not due to their nature or the crimes indicted to them but due to the penal system that transforms a healthy man into an uncontrolled and actually an inveterate criminal. The Old Testament said that each creature was released by pair into this world, so each of us made pairs attracted to each other in the natural way. Under unbearable conditions we had to look for allies, while remembering prison rules written in blood: “Do not believe, do not be scared, do not ask!”
