*Hera's POV*
**Five Years Later**
**Hera**
"Give back my taco's." Daniella yelled to her brother who had finished his share of tacos and stole her's.
Daniel, Diego and Daniella were the product of my pregnancy years ago and I still bless the stars for not letting me opt for an abortion.
I'm blessed that I never thought of getting rid of the children. My two cute boys and my little angel.
They were the best things that had ever happened to my life, my source of joy.
"Alright children, you have to stop arguing now. " I ordered and in obedience to my instructions, they stopped arguing.
" Mum??. " Diego called and I swerved to meet his wonderful puppy eyes.
" Yes sweetie... "I answered, urging him to vomit. Whatever it was he was harboring in his heart.
" When are you going to take us back to Daddy?. " He questioned with curiosity etched in his eyes and of course, I was caught off guard because I wasn't expecting that question from him.
Though I was speechless, I have to give him an answer that would ease him up first.
I looked back at my other children and saw them looking at me, which only signifies one thing.
They are also waiting for my answer about what their dads were about.
"Kiddos, daddy went far away for a long term job... He won't be coming soon until he finishes his job." I responded with a genuine smile on my face.
I wouldn't want anything to stress my kids.
Looking back at them, I noticed they weren't buying it.
"Kiddos–"
"Mom, are you telling us that daddy won't be allowed to come back to see his family and how we are faring until he's done with this anonymous job. " Daniel questioned making my already prepared answer crumble in pieces.
Gosh, I hate it when Daniel talks. I avoided things that would make him talk because he always keeps me at the edge of being speechless.
He's much smarter and wiser than his other siblings and even emitted that adult vibes each time he opened up his mouth to speak.
He wasn't like Diego or Daniella who expressed their thoughts a bit, Daniel's behavior was different and it reminded me of someone.
"Exactly Daniel but don't ever think of it that daddy hates you, he just has to round up with his job." I answered but they still gave me that weird look that actually meant I hadn't convinced them yet.
"Does that mean Daddy is heartless? He can't even spare a day to see us?." Daniel muttered and my heart skipped beats.
Their facial looks were special and striking and It earned them praises wherever they went but their faces also reminded me of someone but I couldn't fathom who.
"Daniel, let's talk about this another time. Shall we? I have to attend to something important." I mused getting up as I head towards my room.
Leaving Aiden's pack took a toll on me as they say that life is not a bed of roses.
But creeping into that tunnel was the best decision I have ever taken in my life.
That midnight as I trolled on barefoot with my possessions weighing me down, my life hung in the balance.
I kept hearing distant howls and growls that reminded me that rogues still existed in the supernatural community but even if I didn't know the way, I was determined to get to the human world.
Getting to the boundaries that separated the supernatural community from the Human world, I realized that it was a first that demarcated it and no matter the fear that crept into my mind, I kept walking till I came to an expressway.
I have arrived!!
The next morning I was awoken by the sounds of cars zooming to and fro and the soft tapping from someone.
"Hey dear, what are you doing out here." The lady, whose name I later found out to be Quinn asked as her eyes scanned my body.
I felt numb but I was unable to explain anything to her. Blessed be the goddess because she didn't press on for an explanation and took me to her house.
That's how I met my best friend Quinn.
She supported me and took care of me throughout my pregnancy till I was delivered of this triplet.
She helped me get a job and now I was living the best life I wanted.
No Alpha Aiden!!
No pack!!
Away from everything that reminded me of my past!
I didn't go to work today because I wanted to spend time with my children... And yeah, you heard me right.
I was the owner of Hera's industry.
A lot happened within five years but it's all in the past now.
"Mum, Daniel and Diego are high on temperature." I heard Daniella beckon and that snapped me out of my thoughts.
High temperature? I just left them some moments ago.
I ran to their room and indeed they were shivering, really high in temperature.
"Daniella got a towel and water." I ordered and as she ran out to get the items I had ordered for, she stumbled on something and fell.
"Ella!!." I screamed but she laid on the floor sobbing after a tiny shrill cry.
"Mummy...." She cried and that's it!! I can't handle this, so I have to take them to the hospital.
Grabbing my car keys, I didn't even bat an eyelid to check if what I was putting on was appropriate.
That didn't matter, the only thing that mattered was my children.
I drove recklessly, more or less looking out for speed limits and traffic lights.
My daughter was losing a lot of blood already and nothing else mattered as tears flowed down my eyes in fright.
On getting to the hospital, I slid out their cards from inside my bag and they were taken in stretchers into the wards.
Damn!!! This is so terrifying!!!
Just then, my phone beeped.
