"AHHHHH" screamed Sky as he woke up. There it was again, voided empty dreams-- nothing but darkness, yet it still seemed to scare him. it worsen every night ever since he-- "… you're awake?" a friend of him said in a hazy rough voice. He sat beside a campfire, whilst it made comforting sounds of crackling wood. It made his silhouette look "heroic", someone to trust yourself with. But that would be impossible especially with a big ego. "good you're just in time" Ralf yawned as he lied down on the ground, falling asleep almost instantly It has been nights since the incident, long terrible nights of Doubt, Fear and Anger. He looked around to where Ralf and his bestfriend slept, He felt bad just thinking about their situation. It took a toll on his bestfriend the most, he hated seeing him like this. he's usually the one who cheers people up but it looks like hes the one needing it. He felt bad, he never shoudve brought them along. He's been overthinking, Doubting and Regretting every night. He kept it to himself, his friends are already dealing with enough problems, it was best not to pile up. He wanted to sob but he wouldn't want to look weak. "I'm sorry" Sky mumbled to himself, staring at the campfire his only comfort. He hasnt felt warm in so long. ~morning came~ Sky cooked up rabbit stew for him and his friend, it was the least he could do for them. He has learned that in rough times like this, an Act of Kindness would always help. atleast thats what he thought… "Tsk how long has it been since you know?" His bestfriend said as he fixed himself for breakfast. "Its been a challenging few nights i guess" he continued in a higher tone. Sky tried to ignore but he was quickly losing his temper, he had to understand. "Welp, might as well just deal with it, ha-ha it's not like the whole kingdom has us wanted" he said sarcastically. the group was silent, everyone was trying to avoid eye contact with each other. "Anyways i gotta look for food" Gen said "If you wanna say something, just say it" Sky sighed and said in a firm tone Gen stopped in his tracks "tsk why bother?" He said "as expected you freaking coward" Sky finally snapped "Cmon everyone lets be c-" Ralf tried to speak up but he got cut off "Fine! Ive been trying to be quiet about this but you've annoyed me for the last time" Gen shouted angrily as he stared "I'm annoying?! Youre funny Gen" Sky shouted "youre the one with who's been annoying who can't even speak up like a coward" "you guys need to cal-" Ralf tried to butt in but he got cut off again "Your Recklessness is what got us into this situation, Sky" Gen said "I don't even know why i bothered hanging out with you" That pissed off Sky even worse "Oh poor you, Gen" Sky insulted "fine go back to your boring life then" "fine i will, right after ive dealt with your bullcrap, dumbass" Gen replied back "Both of you, Shut your Mouth Jeez" Ralf said Finally "i dont have the energy to deal with this, right now im worrying about my stomach" Gen and Sky gave each other last Spiteful look and proceeded to eat Next Chapter
