"Alright! Just shut up!" Charlie snapped. This was exactly the kind of situation he didn't want to see. If the two of them could climb up one after the other, he was confident he could ensure both of their safety. But human nature drove them to compete, each wanting to be the first to climb. After all, the second one would face more risk. Desperate to save herself, Helen left Amanda behind without hesitation. Amanda, equally determined to climb first, paid the price for her actions.
