Chapter 18

Cole was not happy but he let me go. I told that there's an emergency because I don't want him to be worried. As soon as I arrived home, I was greeted by the twins.

"What?" I asked.

"Dad knew.." s**t.

"And?"

"He's not happy, he's waiting for you inside." I walked inside and found my parents already waiting for me in the living room.

"Sit down." Dad said and I sat down looking at them nervously.

"You're dating Cole Harrison?" He asked and I gulped nervously. I turned to the twins and then to mom.

"Yes."

"Break up with him. You're dating your own bully? Do you think I don't know what happened between you two at school?" He's mad.

"Who told you?"

"Does it matter?" He asked coldly as he sat down beside mom.

"He's using you, Cassie." What?

"What do you mean he's using me?" I asked because I don't think he's using me.

"He's using me for what?!" I asked and my parents sighed. I turned to the twins.

"The Harrison has always been greedy and apparently they want his son to be with someone who has the same.. wealth. They want more power." Victor said and my jaw dropped.

Suddenly my head felt so dizzy, I thought we liked each other. I thought he liked me because I'm Cassie not Katherina.

"Break up with him." Dad said and I turned to him.

"Okay." I said and my parents let out a relieve sigh.

"How did you know?" I asked.

"What?"

"That he's using me.."

"We have an insider in his company.." With that I'm done.

"I'll go see him tonight."

Cole Harrison

I smiled when Cassie decided to meet up with me. I guess she took care of her business pretty quick. I put my hands in my pockets waiting for her and when I saw her car, I smiled wider.

She got out from the car and she looked at me with fire in her eyes. I'm so confused with the sudden change. When she approached me, she looked so cold and unapproachable.

"Follow me.." She said as she led me to a private room in a restaurant. As soon as we're inside, she gestured me to sit down.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"Can you tell me how did you know about my identity?" She asked and I raised my eyebrows.

"You're mad at me because of this?"

"Just answer the question!" She bursted and I've never seen her so mad like this.

"I've always been skeptical ever since we met in that event. As Katherina, you look like Cassie but more.. elegant and confident. When we sat beside each other, I found that you have the same habit as Cassie. It was easy for me to identify but I wasn't sure. You two look like different and same at the same time. That's when I tried to.. message you."

"So in school.. you pretend that.. you didn't know anything?" She asked.

"I was waiting.. for you to tell me. I thought you need time knowing that you're pretty comfortable with me as Katherina and Cassie." I said honestly.

"Or you already knew about it from the start?" She asked in a really rude tone. She looked at me suspiciously.

"What do you mean? Why would I know?"

"The dare was in your favor, wasn't it? You msde me your girlfriend because you knew who I am?!"

"What is wrong with you?!" She's been saying stupid things.

"I don't want to be with you anymore! Don't even try to talk to me again, I hate you!" She started crying.

"Cassie, I don't know what you're talking about?! What is wrong with you?!" I'm frustrated.

"You're using me, is this one of the rules to be the CEO?" What is she saying?

"Are you drunk? I'm pretty sure you're not but you're saying things that doesn't make any sense, Cassie!" I hissed.

"Doesn't matter, I don't need to hear your bullshit. I'm done with you, don't even try to talk to me again!" She hissed and wiped her tears. She got up to walk out but I stopped her.

"I'm the one who will decide our relationship, I told you that!" I looked at her seriously.

"You can tell the whole world about my identity, doesn't matter anymore. I don't care!" She pushed me and with that she walked away.

"You and your family will always try to ruin us huh?!"

Cassie Edwards

After breaking up with Cole, I cried in my room. Rissa came and she didn't even say a word. She's just there and I'm glad that she didn't ask about it. I don't want to talk about it.

After the break up, Cole never came to school. It's been 4 days and there's no sign of him. Jake told me that his friends have no idea where Cole could be.

I tried to act normal but I was not okay. I'm worried about him. I'm worried but also hate him at the same time. I hate that he pretended not to know until the end.

I told Jake about everything and he was not happy with my decisions. He said that I didn't even give the chance for him to explain. He even told me about my family relationship with The Harrisons.

"Why so blue?" Jake asked and I glared when he already knew the reason why. He chuckled as he gave me my drink.

"I hate you."

"What a peaceful day.. it's been like this for the past 4 days." He said as he let out a happy sigh.

"Yeah."

"Come on. You don't like it.. why so sad?" I know he's trying to push the buttons.

"Don't test me!" I warned him.

"He's been gone for 4 days and you look like you just got ditch on the altar.." He mocked me again and then he took house his phone. He opened the camera and showed me a picture of myself. I looked like a zombie, so pale and lifeless.

"I look just fine.."

"Fine?!" Jake looked at me disbelief and I shrugged.

"Don't talk to me.."
