Chapter Forty-two Matthew moved into the ballroom fully, found a path beside a sign marked Elysium Glades and marched through a blur of crimson and emerald, only vaguely aware of the autumn trees and veils of mist that surrounded him. At the other side of the indoor forest, guests were stationed around a table laden with crystal punch-bowls and varying sizes of bottles.
