"Close your eyes princess." His breath fanned my face as he gently pulled the blindfold over my eyes.
He lifted me off my feet and my arms immediately wrapped around his neck.
"Andre! Give me a heads up next time will you?" I pinched his neck.
"I'll sweep you off your feet time and time again like this if you give me the chance to."
"What's with the cheesy lines today?"
I felt my shoes gently touch the ground and the blindfold being removed. My eyes gently fluttered open. The clear waves gently crashed against the cliff back and forth. The sky was a velvety canvas and millions of stars speckled the night sky. You could see the numerous constellations from where you were standing, it was a beautiful sight.
"How did you find this place?"
"I used to come here with my grandpa," I could feel the sadness creeping upon him.
"Oh."
Is he okay?
What am I supposed to say?
I suck at comforting people hmph.
"It's alright princess stop overthinking in the cute brain of yours okay? I'm fine." He ruffled my hair and Jesus I was so mad, that bun was perfection.
I'll forgive him this time.
Andre's hands found its way to mine, his fingers interlacing with mine. He gently tugged me towards the edge of the cliff.
"You ready?" Andre turned to me, his arms now around my waist, his face an inch away from mine.
I look over the cliff and I could already feel my heart starting to pound.
"You're afraid of heights." Andre looked into my eyes.
"I'm afraid of falling." I countered.
Then a smile started to spread across his face, "It should be no problem then."
"I just told you I was afraid of falling. Are you deaf Andre or—."
My feet were no longer touching the ground. My arms were clinging onto Andre's neck for dear life.
I don't want to die so soon.
Suddenly, my body just went cold and my eyes were shut. My body was rocking back and forth. I could myself run short of breath. f**k. I was underwater. Andre pushed us up.
"Breathe Aviana. Breathe."

"Breathe Aviana." I hear a voice.
His voice.
I felt my body being shook, my eyes shot open and I realised I had already fallen onto the mat. Matthia had his arm around me and Jaden was crouched down beside him.
"Thank the Lord! I thought you died, I mean you can't die we caught you but you get the idea—" Nisrina blabbered in worry.
"First get that frown off your face and I did not die. The falling just triggered a memory—" I stopped myself from speaking anymore. I looked up to see everyone sending me curious looks except Andre.
He knew exactly what I was talking about.
"Alright, next Matthia your turn." Instructor Lin spoke up successfully, dissipating everyone's attention away from me.
I felt a hand softly tug my wrist causing my eyes to flicker up into his eyes. "What do you want Andre?"
"I never regretted it nor did I want it to end. Ever." Andre's sentence brought up a short silence between us. I could feel my heart thumping wildly in my chest.
"But it did. And you wanted it. And I don't f*****g care anymore. You were my past." I softly mutter before removing my wrist from his grasp.
He can most probably feel how that sentence was so passive-aggressive.
"It's over, just like you wanted. I forgot about it, about you already. It's time you do too." I said hesitantly.
At this point, I don't know whether I was trying to convince him or myself.
It's time I moved on.
Will my heart let me do so?
