I looked at the man standing in the lobby. He smiled and waved at me. I shake my head as I walk towards him.
"Hello, Lula!" He greeted me and kissed me on the cheek.
"What are you doing here? And how do you know that I was here?" I still can't believe that he was here in front of me.
He scratched the back of his head and smiled again. "I hired someone to look for you. Can't I do that?'
I shook my head as I rolled my eyes at him. I can't believe that he did that to find me. I'm not an important person to treat like that. Queens is not that far from Manhattan, but it's still an hour's drive to visit me. Anyway, I'm still in Manhattan, so it's effortless for him to do that mostly if he has money.
He gave me some flowers and invited me to the nearest coffee shop.
