Rejected by my female alpha: Closure
I walked down the dimly lit corridor, my heart heavy with a mixture of anger, sadness and confusion.
Every step I took buzzed with my determination to meet Ethan, to get an answer.
Damn, to get closure.
The lights draped over the walls, casting dancing shadows that reflected the turmoil in my mind.
As I approached the cell, the door in front of me opened like a barrier between our past and our uncertain future. I paused, took a deep breath, and tried to calm down.
*Relax Evelyn, the last thing you want is to be seen as this…Vulnerable and all emotional, like a wimpy kid*.
I couldn’t let him know how much his betrayal had hurt me.
I had to be strong… for myself and the pack.
I stood at the door of the cell, where he was sitting on a worn wooden bench. His face, once full of life, now bore the marks of weariness and regret. His usually elegant beard was wild and so dirty. His clothes smelled terribly, in contrast to his usual flawless complexion.
Despite everything, I couldn’t help but notice his gorgeous, charming eyes.
Damn, snap out of it, girl.
"How could you?" I said in a voice mixed with anger and sadness.
“I don’t understand how you, someone I trusted so much, could turn against me and the pack this way.”
Ethan raised his head, his tired eyes meeting mine.
*Fine motherfucker*.
I could feel his fear, his desire to let me understand his side of the story.
"You know me, Evelyn. I will never hurt you or the pack. Just f*****g listen to me. It's not what you think."
His words hung in the air, and for a moment I felt uncomfortable.
“I remember us fighting side by side, making passionate love, and so much more… But this pain… this pain is just too fresh, and has made me regret every sucking your d**k”
“Sit down and I’ll explain everything to you.”
“Explain?”. You i***t must think I'm some kind of i***t, huh!”. I scoffed, my voice sounding sad in response.
"So, I have to listen to you.. You justify lies, you scheming son of a b***h? What are your plans huh? To get rid of me and take over the pack?”
Somehow I could see the pain in Ethan’s eyes, but I couldn’t soften my judgment. I had to protect myself and the pack from further damage. I turned to leave, to shut him out of my life, but he yelled at me, the frustration evident in his voice.
"Evelyn, please calm down. I never meant to hurt you. Trust me, there are things you don’t understand. If you don’t listen to me, you’ll regret this.”
I hesitate, my hand on the door, my anger torn between the lingering memories of our relationship,
*the s*x…oh that cork*.
I slowly turned my back to him, my voice a mixture of frustration and lust.
"Wait, trust you? I trusted you, Ethan. I fucken did. You are… was my better half, my partner, my soulmate. And yet, here you are... awaiting punishment for betraying me and the pack.” A mixture of sadness and determination filled Ethan's eyes. I saw it as he clenched his wrists, the chains holding his hands rattling against the restraints.
"No, Evelyn, wait. You must believe me,” he pleaded.
"I’m not lying to you or the pack. Victor is not to blame for all this. There are forces at play, dark forces that threaten the supernatural creatures in the forest".
I struggled to process his words. Anger and hurt still clouded my judgment, but a small voice inside urged me to give it a chance.
Maybe, just maybe, there was more to the story than I knew.
My eyes narrowed, and I took a step away, away from the cell.
"Evelyn, please just listen. There's more to this than meets the eye, I promise."
He said that with eyes full of sincerity, he begged me to understand him.
But they couldn’t shake me that easily. The pain he caused was still very fresh.
I looked away with a heavy breath, my voice carrying a weight of finality I didn’t really feel.
"I hate you, Ethan. You broke me," I said, my voice barely above the point.
"You will face the punishment you deserve. I, Evelyn Morgan, Alpha of the Moonbound pack, cannot let this betrayal go unpunished."
As I turned to leave, his voice, confused and regretful, followed.
"Evelyn, please let me just explain to you and the elders. There are so many things you don’t know. We can still fight this...but together."
But I couldn’t listen anymore. I needed time to process everything, to heal the wounds he had created.
As I walked away from the cell, I had a strange feeling, like something strong was pulling me towards the cell.
*Shut it out Evelyn. control what’s between your thighs. This man betrayed you*.
But I wanted to go back, into that cell. Yes, I deeply wanted to, to get closure of course.
