Elira's POV I didn't go to the gate,Petra wanted me to run straight to Professor Soren's office, but I made myself stop in the corridor and breathe and think instead of react. Running through the academy at night with my hood pulled up would draw exactly the kind of attention I was trying to avoid. "Find Professor Soren." I told her. "Tell him what you told me. I'll go to my room." "Alone?" Petra said. "Lara, if he's already inside the gates…" "He can't get past the gates without faculty approval." I said, hoping I sounded more certain than I felt.
