I woke up choking on pain, a sharp cramp tore through my stomach so violently that a cry escaped my lips before I could stop it.
My breathing became uneven as I curled against the sheets desperately trying to endure it.
The guards were outside and if they heard,Kael would come.
I pressed both hands protectively over my stomach.
A knock sounded at the door. Then Mira’s voice came softly.
